Crystal Dynamics has revealed six of Spider-Man's costumes in Marvel's Avengers, including Noir, Classic, and a completely original one - Bugle Boy.

Ever since Spider-Man was announced to be coming to Marvel's Avengers, fans have wondered what his costume design would be. After the reveal trailer showed off a design that's somewhere in the middle of every Spidey outfit ever, players started to wonder what sort of costumes would be available for the webhead.

In a new developer blog, Crystal Dynamics went into detail on six of Spider-Man's costumes and the inspirations behind them. The first outfit shown off is the Classic Suit, which is inspired by some of Spider-Man's earliest appearances and specifically by Steve Ditko's design, with Crystal Dynamics saying, "Steve Ditko is the prime motivator behind this outfit’s design".

The next suit shown is the Iconic Outfit, which is his default costume in Marvel's Avengers. The purpose of this costume is to show that Spider-Man has come into more resources after meeting the Avengers and that his suit has seen an upgrade. According to Crystal Dynamics, "In our Iconic take, we added elements that put Peter Parker’s science and engineering talents on display".

Bugle Boy is the next suit shown in the blog, and it's an original suit created by Crystal Dynamics. It's essentially its take on a minimalist suit, as it's just a Daily Bugle-dressed Peter Parker with a Spider-Man mask on. It's one of the cooler suits in the collection, and one that Avengers players will be aiming towards.

The next few suits that Crystal Dynamics shared in the blog are ones that we've seen before in other Spider-Man games, but with a new spin put on them, including Spider-Armour Mark One and Mark Three, the Secret Wars suit, and a much cooler looking Noir suit than we've seen in recent Spider-Man games.

Towards the end of the blog, it's confirmed that Spider-Man will have more outfits available in-game and that they'll get shown off during the runup to launch. So far, so good, though.
