CS:GO cosmetics are some of the most expensive around. Usually, those skins are only in the tens, hundreds, or sometimes thousands of dollars, but one CS:GO collector just put up a skin for over $400,000, which may be the most expensive skin listed.

Danish CS:GO skin collector and skinbid.com co-founder @Luksusbums is selling his "661 ST MW 4xTT holo" skin for the AK-47 for the low price of €431,000 ($447,000 USD). The skin has been apparently replaced by the Wild Lotus AK-47 skin, which Luksusbums seems to prefer, so he "decided that it should find a better home."

Dexerto explains why this "Case Hardened" AK-47 skin is so wildly expensive. First, it has the 661 pattern, which is highly desirable for its extensive blue coloring. Second, it has four Titan Holo stickers applied, which are the most expensive stickers in the game (with each priced at around $60,000). Then there's the fact the skin is in "StatTrak Minimal Wear" condition and is the "number one" version of just such a gun. This means that this skin is the best AK-47 Case Hardened skin currently in the game with the 661 pattern.

Luksusbums is selling the skin on buff.163.com, and the listing is so high that Buff actually needed to increase its price ceiling just to accommodate it.

Will that skin sell for almost half a million dollars? Dexerto seems to think so, citing other recently-sold skins that came close. It seems some players have so much money that they can afford to blow it all on some digital bling.

Money seems to be a big factor in CS:GO these days. According to a new report from People Make Games, professional CS:GO matches are even getting fixed just so people can make money betting on CS:GO gambling sites, many of which allow players to put up expensive skins as collateral.
