Slimes have been around in gaming for quite a while. Most of the time, they're pretty cute. But Slime Rancher took it to a whole new level with Tabby Slime. Of all the slimes you wrangle on your ranch, Tabby comes out on top in the contest of cute, hands down.
Gray with darker gray stripes, cute kitty cat ears, and an impish smile, these slimy felines are both adorable and mischievous. Be prepared to check your enclosures often for escapees. There's no law that says something cute can't also be a pain in the neck!

Ragnarok Online, we need to talk. Lunatics are one of the most adorable monsters in the game. Yes, they're enemies, but they're also extremely fluffy little bunnies. We may have to dispatch them for quests or self preservation, and we can begrudgingly accept that. But do they have to make a truly distressing little shriek when they die?
Of course, these creatures do have sharp teeth and can occasionally become aggravated, no matter how cute they are. But having to relive Watership Down with every enemy slain can be nerve wracking.
6 Blupee Doesn't Jingle Jingle, It Folds
When wandering the wooded areas of Hyrule, you might catch a glimpse of something blue and glowing. Breath of the Wild has a side quest to photograph the spirit, the true reward being a better look at the blupee.
With the body of a rabbit, the face of a barn owl, and gold wreaths for ears, the blupee is a sight to behold. And if you can sneak in close enough to hit it with an arrow, it will drop up to 100 rupees before disappearing again. The only thing better than cute is when it's paired with cash.

Kirby is a monster. He's one of the good guys, but he inhales other creatures whole to steal their abilities, so he still qualifies as a monster. And that's okay, because Kirby is the epitome of spherical cuteness. With his round pink body, round blue eyes, and happy expression he proves that if you're going to be a shape, spheres are the cutest.
On top of his cute factor, he's actually a powerful little guy. It just goes to show that you don't always have to choose between beauty and brawn.
4 Nature Spirit On Your Side
Putties are a race of nature spirits that are found in Phantam Brave. These adorable little sprites are humanoid, clothed in little dresses and hats made of leaves. Unlike more passive nature spirits, such as koroks from Breath Of The Wild, putties will help you in battle. They are proficient in Space/Time magic and boost Nature attacks.
They will also steal for you, and make surprisingly good little thieves in the earlier stages of the game. No one ever said a monster can't be criminally cute, in more ways than one!
3 A Mage's Best Friend
While there are many very solid reasons to become a mage in Final Fantasy 14, getting a carbuncle at level 30 is an attractive bonus. They look like foxes, they come in three colors, and they follow you around all the time in addition to minions. What's not to love?
Carbuncles have been a staple in the franchise for a long time, starting out an an enemy in Final Fantasy III. They have gotten progressively cuter with each iteration. Except the FF7 remake, that is. Let's pretend that didn't happen.
