Cyberpunk's recently announced 1.3 patch is available now across all platforms, including the game's first DLC items.

Cyberpunk 2077's road to redemption took a major step forward this week. A tease that big news was coming on Monday was followed by the reveal of what CDPR claims is the game's biggest patch yet on Tuesday. Cyberpunk's 1.3 update not only includes an array of new fixes for the game, but it also includes its very first DLC absolutely free.

A busy week for Cyberpunk continues today as the 1.3 update is now live across all platforms. A full list of what the update brings can be found via the official patch notes on the Cyberpunk website. However, the biggest takeaway is, of course, the aforementioned DLC. All players who download the patch will get an alternate look for Johnny Silverhand and two new jackets.

A new vehicle has also been added to the game. The Archer Quartz Bandit is now available as a reward or for purchase once you have completed Ghost Town and received a message from Dakota or Rogue. As for other improvements made via the patch, the minimap will now be more zoomed out when driving, making it easier to navigate. New sleep spots have been added to Nibbles in V's apartment, the number of autosave slots has been doubled, among other improvements.

The reaction to Cyberpunk getting its first DLC hasn't been entirely positive. It appears some players who have stuck by the game during its rocky launch were expecting a little more than a couple of jackets and a new car. Especially after a datamine appears to have revealed CDPR has big plans for Cyberpunk's future DLC.

Cyberpunk is obviously not where CDPR envisioned it would be eight months on from launch. The first few months have been dedicated to righting everything that was wrong at launch, hence its first DLC not arriving until now. The game is back on the PS Store and if you were quick, you could have picked up a copy for just $10 earlier this week at Best Buy. CDPR clearly hasn't given up on the game, and hopefully, this latest patch will further push the game to where those waiting for it all that time envisioned it would be at launch, even if the DLC is a little disappointing.
