Cyberpunk 2077's Mr. Hands is a mysterious figure in Night City, only shown to players with a shadow obscuring the majority of his body. The latest bug to surface, however, reveals the elusive character's face – and it's not what most people were expecting.

Apparently, Mr. Hands got his name because it's all you can see of him during your video chats. His entire body is – for the most part – hidden by shadows, except for his gesticulating hands. Hence, Mr. Hands was born. But thanks to the latest bug to surface in Cyberpunk 2077, his identity is no longer hidden. One player showed off a graphical hiccup that briefly removed the shadow from Mr. Hands' portrait, giving you a glimpse of the man in the dark. You can check it out below – just don't get distracted by the multiple hit-and-runs:

Other players chimed in, claiming they had no idea his face was supposed to be obscured. Apparently, Mr. Hands isn't shrouded in darkness for some people – and there doesn't seem to be a consistent reason as to why that's the case. Many were speculating that Street Kids could see his face while other Lifepaths couldn't, but others stepped in to refute the claim. No matter how you cut it, it seems that Mr. Hands identity was meant to remain a mystery.

Quite honestly, I can see why CD Projekt Red didn't want the character to step into the spotlight. The mysterious fixer is much less intimidating when you realize he's just a regular dude in a purple suit.

CD Projekt Red is hard at working ironing out all the bugs that currently haunt Night City. We don't have a specific timeline for the updates, but fans are hoping a Cyberpunk 2077 roadmap will be released in the near future. As it stands, the best way to experience the game is on PC, with PS5 and Xbox Series X a close second. Try playing on Xbox One or PS4, and you're bound to have more issues than a simple graphical hiccup during a phone call.
