According to CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 will not be delayed again - it's still well on track to make its scheduled release date of November 19, 2020.

"Yes remote work does pose challenges, but we're coping," said CD Projekt Red CFO Piotr Nielubowicz in a recent YouTube video. He also notes that sales revenues reached 364 million PLN ($96.9 million) over the past six months, which is 70% higher than the figures posted for the same period last year.

Nielubowicz notes that increases in sales are largely still attributed to the continued success of The Witcher 3, specifically mentioning the performance of last year's Nintendo Switch port. Both Gwent and Thronebreaker also performed well.

"Of course, the largest contribution to the figure comes from Cyberpunk 2077," Nielubowicz says, "which has now entered its final stretch of development, marked by very intensive work."

Nielubowicz briefly refers to the soft launch of The Witcher: Monster Slayer on Android and iOS before specifically confirming that Cyberpunk 2077 will not see any more delays.

"When we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will already have been released," Nielubowicz says, "so keep your fingers crossed and tune in to upcoming Night City Wire broadcasts."

CD Projekt Red releases fiscal reports such as this at the end of every sales quarter, meaning that the next video should air in December 2020. Given that Cyberpunk 2077 is due to release in mid-November, and that Nielubowicz clearly says that it will have already launched by the time the next fiscal report rolls around, it's not a stretch to say that this is pretty concrete confirmation that Cyberpunk 2077 is on track for its current release date.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due to launch on November 19, 2020. It's coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia, and will be optimized for both PS5 and Xbox Series X at launch.
