There are a bunch of ways to earn cash in Cyberpunk 2077, and getting eurodollars - otherwise known as “eddies” or “scratch” - is important if you want to rock the best cyberware and drive the fastest cars.

If you want legs that can jump up buildings or arms that split out into deadly blades, you’re going to need enough money to pay for them at a ripperdoc. And while it’s unlikely you’ll ever be able to afford every ride someone tells you to buy, there are a few ways to make sure you’re earning throughout your time in Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 - Earn Money Fast

The most efficient way to earn cash in Cyberpunk is by completing Gigs. These short missions usually involve heading into a compound to steal something, kill someone, or rescue a hostage.

Gigs only take a few minutes and can be very lucrative. The way Cyberpunk 2077 is structured makes it make sense to take these on between the larger Side Jobs, too. Side Jobs generally have multiple parts, and you can wait 24 hours to progress to the next part where the quest giver will call you up or send a message. But why not spend this time doing as many Gigs as you can instead? Your bank balance will thank you for it. You might as well do some NCPD hustles while you’re at it.

If you’re a netrunner (read: hacker build), you can get plenty of extra cash by hacking terminals and physical access points to datamine resources that can be used for crafting or be sold. You can also hack ATMs to free them of their eurodollars. It’s also worth keeping an eye out as you complete missions, since most hideouts have rolls of cash lying around, and you might even find the odd stash box.

When all else fails, you can become an entrepreneur. Pick up every last weapon and item you see and sell them all to vendors around Night City. Take on the Pack Mule perk so you can carry more gear and hulk it all to the nearest shop.

There’s one last way to make some extra coin in Night City - hunting bounties. These aren’t marked on your map and instead require you to scan people in the city. Usually, these are gang members, and you’ll get a notification on your scanner when they have a bounty on their heads. Kill or incapacitate them for a small reward.

To refresh, here's what you need to do:

  • Complete Gigs
  • Complete NCPD side hustles
  • Search for cash lying around
  • Hack terminals and ATMs
  • Collect and sell
  • Find bounty targets and hunt them down
