Cyberpunk 2077's recent version 1.5 update was a huge step-up, bringing the game closer to what was promised at launch. With free trials and big sales taking place since then, it's clear that the studio saw this as something of a soft re-launch, trying to bring in new players who gave the game a miss in 2020. But despite all the work that went into the update, CDPR isn't done with Cyberpunk just yet.

On a recent livestream, quest director Paweł Sasko confirmed that the team is still actively working to improve Cyberpunk. Sasko says that they are very aware that there is still "work to be done" to the game, and that he is personally improving quests "daily" in order to bring it more in line with audience expectations.

"We're still improving the game, because we are all aware that there is work to be done", said Sasko, responding to a fan who asked about future Cyberpunk content in 2022. "We're very happy you guys liked 1.5, and that gives us more...incentive to work for you guys because you show your appreciation for it.

"That's as much as I can tell you. We are working on stuff for you. Like I'm literally daily reviewing quests, talking to people about stuff, so it is happening."

Sasko also hinted that an expansion might not be far off, and is actively being worked on now. However, like the other future updates, he can't discuss this in detail right now. "I cannot tell you anything about our future plans", Sasko said. "But I can assure you that we are working on expansions - we're working on stuff for you guys."

While we wait for more features to be added to Cyberpunk, it's always worth diving into the modding scene for new ways to play. As we've recently reported, a fan has added DualSense adaptive trigger support for PC. Another has also added arcade games to the various cabinets you come across in Night City, which is a great way to kill time in between missions.
