Cyberpunk 2077 is one of 2020's biggest surprises, mainly due to the fact that it was so highly anticipated but its fan reception has been mixed at best. It's not that Cyberpunk 2077 is terrible, it's just that the game is so littered with bugs and glitches that it is often unplayable.

This is such a shame, however, because Cyberpunk 2077 actually has a compelling story beneath the lavish exterior. Not only does it have a great main campaign storyline, but the game is also filled with a ton of hidden plotlines only those who dig enough will have the pleasure of discovering.

When the first teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 came out eight years ago, it elicited excitement for so many reasons. For one, the once-revered video game studio CD Projekt Red was revealed to be creating a game based on the popular tabletop game, Cyberpunk. Another reason is that the teaser trailer itself was so bizarre, yet so intricately gorgeous.

The woman in the said trailer is Melissa Rory, and you can actually encounter her in the game. There is a side quest called "Bullets" where you'll have to defend a clothing store from a Psycho Killer. Melissa will arrive after as a MaxTac officer.

Sadly, Jackie passes away after you and he infiltrates Yorinobu's penthouse. Afterward, there is a sidequest involving his funeral where you'll get to learn more about his history, like how he was beaten up by his father in the past, how he protected himself and his mother, and how he became so ambitious. It's a very heartwarming quest that honors one of the most wholesome characters in the game.

First, you'll have to track Kerry down, Johnny's old bandmate, who will then enlist you to track the rest of the band. Completing this series of side quests will give you a chance of romancing Panam, get to know her clanmates, see Panam co-lead the clan, and even ask for their assistance during the game's final mission.

4 Crucifixion

Cyberpunk sinnerman mission

There is a side quest in Cyberpunk 2077 called Sinnerman, and it is by far one of the most bizarre storylines in the game. This side quest will be kickstarted after you get a call from the fixer Wakako regarding a hit-job. You will then meet a guy named Bill who will task you with chasing an armored car in order to shoot the man inside.

Things will not go as smoothly as planned, however, and Bill will end up getting shot by a cop. The cop in question will then constantly give you the chance to leave the quest, which you absolutely should not do if you want to see this bizarre side quest through. If you choose to power on, it will culminate in an extremely odd scenario where you'll have to crucify a certain character. This is something you'll have to see for yourself so you can really appreciate the obscurity of the situation.
