In Cyberpunk 2077, you can meet many people from all walks of life across Night City. Some of them will be foes, some will be friends, and some will be a bit more complicated. While V moves within the anti-corporation side of life, they can also join forces with certain Corpo characters, at least temporarily.

You will meet Meredith Stout early in the game, while you're retrieving the Flathead for Dex DeShawn. If you play your cards right, you'll get a unique romance option with Stout slightly later on in the story, which will also give you access to a very particular weapon.

How To Romance Meredith Stout

When 'The Pickup' main job begins, you will have an optional objective that involves calling Meredith Stout, a senior operations manager for Militech who finds herself in a tough situation after losing a convoy. After setting a meetup with her, a violent cutscene will trigger various dialog choices, and you have to make sure to accept when she offers you a credchip to buy the Flathead from the Maelstrom gang.

Later in the job, you'll visit the Maelstrom base and attempt to do the Flathead deal with a man named Royce, where you must either attack him or give him Meredith's credchip without warning him about the virus it contains.

Keep in mind that both options lead to a confrontation with the Maelstrom gang, but once you're done you'll be in Meredith's good graces.

Venus In Furs Side Job

Sometime after you start Act 2, and only if you finish 'The Pickup' in Meredith's favor, you will receive a text message from her. During the conversation, you must indicate that you want to see her again, and in response, she'll invite you to the No-Tell Motel.

After that, the 'Venus In Furs' side job will trigger, which consists of going to that establishment and meeting Meredith. Head to the southern part of the Kabuki region to find the motel, and once you get inside room Six, a romance cutscene will play, after which you'll wake up alone.

Once you do, you can find an Iconic Melee Weapon on the bed, called Sir John Phallustiff.

Unfortunately, there's no more to this romance than a final text message, and that's where your brief summer fling with Meredith Stout ends. So if you're looking for something more meaningful than a one-night stand, be sure to pursue the many colorful and deeper relationships that Cyberpunk 2077 can offer.
