Cyberpunk 2077 is full of tiny details, and it turns out that one was hiding in plain sight the whole time. As spotted by fans on Reddit, Johnny's Silverhands uh, silver hand was actually made by Arasaka - something the Rockerboy is trying to hide.

If you zoom in on Johnny's cybernetic arm, you can faintly make out the Arasaka logo, showing that his most iconic feature came courtesy of his greatest enemies. Unsurprisingly, you can also see that Johnny has tried to (without much success) scratch the logo off the prosthetic, showing that he's not proud to boast corpo tech so prominently.

As you can see in the picture shared by Reddit user Fluffy_Boulder, Johnny very clearly isn't proud to be fitted out in Arasaka tech. The logo is mostly scratched off, making it easy to miss for most players.

Considering his run-ins with Arasaka even before he tried to blow them all up, it's unsurprising that Johnny tried to remove their name from his arm. For someone as anti-establishment as he is, there's probably no worse hell than having to rely on a corpo for anything, let alone your own body.

Of course, this just adds yet another layer of irony and even tragedy to Johnny's story. Despite his eagerness to live free and be one of the few people in Night City to never sell out to the corps, it's just straight-up impossible. The megacorporations run the city so invasively that, in one way or another, they will come to define your life and leave their mark. In Johnny's case, it's they that give him his titular silver hand, and are the only reason he's around in 2077 at all thanks to the Relic.

That being said, he and V can get the last laugh at the end of the game, so at least there's that.
