With yesterday's reveal of when the PlayStation 5 will be available to customers, many are now turning their attention completely to the next-generation. With all of these hot new games to play, why even bother with PS4 or Xbox One titles? Well, there's a little game called Cyberpunk 2077 that you may have heard of that will be launching on November 19, 2020. Coming a little over a week after both consoles will be out in the wild, its developer would like to remind you that the game is fully functional on both Sony and Microsoft's devices.

In a Tweet today, CD Projekt Red reiterated that on release, Cyberpunk 2077 will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The wording of the Tweet is a little curious, almost suggesting that the next-gen ports (which were previously confirmed to be offered as free upgrades) will be available before the end of 2020.

Having been in development since the dawn of time, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games for 2020. While sad that a next-gen port won't be available immediately in November, CD Projekt has put years and years of work into ensuring last-generation players aren't left in the dust. With the current global recession going on, many won't even be able to grab next-gen consoles -not to mention Sony's snafu with pre-orders-.

If you do happen to find yourself with a PS5 or Series X, at least you can still enjoy Cyberpunk this year. Considering the size of the game, you might even still be playing it by the time those next-gen upgrades roll out.
