Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a city where you can achieve your dreams, as long as those dreams include committing crimes in a near-future dystopia. As V, you will explore the city and meet all kinds of suspicious characters, some suspect crime lords, others faithful and loyal companions that you can experience Night City alongside.

It's not like you can bond with every NPC in Cyberpunk 2077, but four NPCs in particular are available to be romanced. Each of them has a specific list of tasks you must complete before you're able to woo any of them, and here's everything you need to know.

How To Romance Panam Palmer

You'll initially meet Panam during the Ghost Town side job, but you'll get to start romancing her after the main story quest Life During Wartime. Following that quest, you will receive numerous side jobs that allow you to continue to talk to and romance Panam.

Here's what you should do in each of those quests for success.

• During the Riders On The Storm side job, you must flirt with Panam.
• During the With A Little Help From My Friends side job, do not tell Saul about Panam's plan.
• You must never imply that you're only helping Panam to get paid in dialogue.
• During the Queen Of The Highway side job, accept Panam's offer of neural synchronization.

There is one caveat to romancing Panam, though, as she will enter a relationship with V only if they have a masculine body type.

How To Romance Judy Alvarez

You will first meet Judy with Evelyn during the early quest The Information, and after an emotional string of events, Judy will consider V to be a good relationship partner, as long as everything goes smoothly. Just follow these choices to ensure your chance of being together with Judy.

• During the Pisces side job, you must refuse Maiko's plan and payment.
• During the sidequest Pyramid Song, accept Judy's requests to dive and stay together.
  • You will be allowed to kiss Judy in the bathroom later that day, so do not reject her.

• In the morning you will be able to join Judy on the pier. Tell her that last night was "the beginning of something amazing" and you'll begin your relationship together.

Keep in mind that Judy is a lesbian, and she'll only enter into a relationship with V if they have both a feminine voice and body type.

How To Romance Kerry Eurodyne

You will meet him during the Holdin' On side job, but you'll be able to begin your romance with Kerry during the string of sidequests that begins with the Rebel! Rebel! side quest. Ensure you accept all of these sidequests, and fulfill the following requirements.

• During the Boat Drinks side job, attempt to kiss Kerry when he calls you for help.
• Following a beach scene with Kerry, ensure you select the dialogue options showing your interest in him.

Kerry can only be romanced by V if they have both a masculine voice and body type.

How To Romance River Ward

You can romance River during the string of sidequests that begins with the I Fought The Law side quest. All you need to do after meeting him is follow these steps.

• During the The Hunt side job, you must save Randy.
  • During the final conversation in The Hunt, express your interest in River.

• During the Following The River side job, you must kiss River - you will have two opportunities to do so and you should use both of them.
  • At the end of that sidequest, make sure to express your interest in exploring a relationship with River.

You should know that River will only enter a relationship with V if they have a feminine body type.

How To Have Romantic Encounters

Once you're done with the questline of your partner of choice, you'll receive a new text message from your partner, who's asking to get some time alone to relax. This will unlock a new quest called 'I Really Want to Stay at Your House', and once you arrive at the apartment you told them to go to, they will be already there, waiting for you.

After a quick greeting, you'll be able to have some time to yourselves to chill and interact in different areas of your flat, such as:

• Your Mirror
• The Shower
• Your Couch
• The Bed

Leave the area to finish this quest, and once you're back, they will have left a gift and some food for you. How romantic!

Once this first encounter ends, you will be able to call them again by sending them a message.
