CD Projekt Red has done a phenomenal job so far when it comes to game promotion and keeping fans in the Cyberpunk 2077 loop. In addition to the previous concept art images released for Night City’s Westbrook district, we now get a glimpse of the industrial metropolis Santo Domingo.

The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account has graced the eyes of impatient fans with a journey into Night City’s Santo Domingo. Described as one of the city's older districts, Santo Domingo is said to be an area where industrial designs are put to the test. The smog-covered location is under constant construction; past factories are pulled down to erect shiny new builds as its citizen’s struggle to make ends meet. Santo Domingo is a drastic change from the blissful utopia that Westbrook’s concept art showcased and seems to be less-evolved than the rest of Night City.

The first concept art image features a high-rise view of suburban housing, congregated at the bottom of a lifeless embankment. Power cables drape across our view and we can see the ominous outlines of cube-shaped skyscrapers towering over the residential houses. The whole area is saturated in smog from the local industrial plant appearing on the far right of the image as the houses sit in multiple rows overwhelmed by its presence.

The second image brings some color to Santo Domingo; we get a head-on view of a low-lying road that heads towards the heart of the district, encased by superstructures. The palm trees that run parallel to the road juxtapose a nearby civilian who appears to be wearing a scarf to prevent smog inhalation. Another highway can be seen sloping up towards the viewer and away from the skyscrapers with the words ‘No Way Out’ graffitied on the side of the ramp.

The third and final image depicts a scene on the outskirts of the district, placed at the bottom of a dusty, rocky valley. It’s hard to see anywhere behind the foreground; the amount of dust that sits in the air creates a sepia tint to the image, illustrating a bleak atmosphere. Various people can be seen walking within what looks like an abandoned area of Santo Domingo. Three civilians can be seen grouped together with one holding what appears to be a long rifle. A tall billboard also can be seen promoting the residential area of Rancho Coronado with the slogan ‘A new way of living.’
