In Cyberpunk 2077 there are hundreds of guns, swords, knives, and other clobbering tools littering the crime-ridden streets of Night City. However, not all weapons are born equal in this neon-tinged hellscape, since each one has a special name, look, and property that makes it different from others of its type.

The Iconic weapons are all based on regular weapons, but they're also usually more powerful and much harder to obtain. After all, you only get one chance in the entire game to acquire some of them, and here are all those unique weapons and how you get them.

What Is An Iconic Weapon?

Night City has a lot of places to explore, secrets to uncover, and enemies to defeat. While you make your journey across its streets, you will find particular weapons with specific backgrounds and attributes, called Iconic weapons.

These will come in many rarities but will always have effects that make them stand out from the normal ones. To obtain Iconic weapons, you can get them as drops from specific enemies, find them in secret loot containers across Night City, obtain them as quest rewards, and in some cases, you can even craft them.

Crash	Overture	Power	Has a full auto mode.	Complete River’s arc and he'll give you this weapon during the 'Following The River' quest.
Death and Taxes	Nue	Power	Deals electric damage.	Inside Maiko's office during the 'Ex-Factor' quest.
Divided We Stand	D5 Sidewinder	Smart	Can target up to five enemies at once. It also deals Chemical damage and has a chance to inflict Poison.	Take on the shooting competition from 6th Street during 'Stadium Love', and win.
Doom Doom	DR5 Nova	Power	Fires four rounds per shot with increased damage and rate of fire.	If Dum Dum survives the main job where you secure the flathead robot, you can find him again during the 'Second Conflict' quest. Take him down and loot his body.
Dying Night	M-10AF Lexington	Power	Has low reload times and 50% increased headshot damage.	Win the shooting contest during the 'Shoot To Thrill' quest.
Fenrir	M221 Saratoga	Power	Deals Thermal damage. It also has reduced bullet spread and increased bullet impact.	Rescue the monk in the side job 'Losing My Religion' and loot it from the table next to where he’s being held captive.
Genjiroh	HJKE-11 Yukimara	Smart	Fires four rounds per shot and can target six enemies simultaneously.	During the parade in the 'Play it Safe' quest, you can find this weapon behind a closed door, and you can use your Tech Ability or the nearby terminal and the code '2906' to open it.
Kongou	Liberty	Power	Ricochets its shots regardless of whether or not you have the right cyberware.	During 'The Heist' quest, grab this from the nightstand next to Yorinobu’s bed before you grab the biochip.
La Chingona Dorada	Nue	Power	Has a high burn and stun chance, an extra mod slot, and faster reloads.	Next to the offerings table during the 'Heroes' quest.

Plan B	Liberty	Power	This gun uses eurodollars instead of bullets.	In the main job called 'Playing for Time', look for Dex’s body in the scrapyard and loot this pistol from his corpse.
Prejudice	HJSH-18 Masamune	Power	Fires piercing projectiles.	Take the ending path called 'The Sun', and loot this from behind the bar in Afterlife.
Pride	Liberty	Power	Improved critical chance and headshot damage.	Near where you meet Adam Smasher during the 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' quest.
Problem Solver	M221 Saratoga	Power	Increased ammo and a higher fire rate.	Storm the gate in the 'Riders on the Storm' side job, and loot this from the big enemy guarding the entrance.
Prototype Shingen: Mark 5	TKI-20 Shingen	Smart	Fires explosive rounds. Plus, the bullets home in on three targets.	In the 'Gimme Danger' quest, you can find this weapon inside the shipping container 667.
