There's a mission relatively early on in Cyberpunk 2077 that tasks you with paying the Voodoo Boys a visit in Pacifica. The aim is to meet with Brigitte, who is apparently capable of helping you remove the biochip relic from your head. The thing is, you can't meet Brigitte right away - Placide, her second-in-command, needs you to locate a van in Pacifica's Grand Imperial Mall first, and it's not quite as easy to do as you might initially think.

This is largely because while the quest marker steers you in the right direction generally, you need to do a bit of your own recon to figure out where exactly the van is. If you head right to where your destination is marked on the minimap, you'll meet a grisly demise at the hands of a gigantic sledgehammer. And so, we've taken the liberty of putting together a handy guide on where to find the van in the Pacifica mall in Cyberpunk 2077, just so you don't have to get clobbered.

Cyberpunk 2077: Where To Find The Van In The Mall In Pacifica

This quest kicks off after you've gone to the church, met the guy at the altar, visited the butchers, and finally been introduced to Placide. The Voodoo Boys are big on security, so there are quite a few people you need to meet before Placide will even think about meeting with you.

Shortly after meeting Placide, he'll scan all of your cyberware in order to get a better gauge of whether or not you pose a threat to him. Once he reckons you're good to go and you've gone through a couple of cutscenes and formalities, he'll send you on your way to the Grand Imperial Mall, an area of Pacifica currently teeming with members of a gang called The Animals.

Getting to the mall itself is quite easy, as is getting inside. There are a couple of Animals around, but they're easy to bypass and the quest marker is accurate at this point. My advice would be to prioritize stealth, as you can complete most of his mission without ever needing to draw your weapon - distract the Animals out front by scanning and hacking a car or a camera, then sneak past them into the building.

The issue here arises when you get to the actual quest area, which is located in a large atrium at the centre of the mall. The quest marker nudges you towards the middle of the room, but there's nothing there except.. well, death, really. If you make your way to this part of the room, you'll be spotted and forced into fighting about 50 people. There's really no need to go where the quest marker tells you, because it doesn't lead you to the van.

Instead, the van is on the left hand side of the room from where you enter the atrium after going down the escalator. It's almost in line with the quest marker in the middle, except it hugs the left wall tight and is a bit further down. The best way to access the van here is to go down the escalator and sneak along the right hand side of the room, where there are barely any atriums. Wrap around the back wall to get to the left side, and then start making your way back in the direction you cam while continuing to hug the wall. You'll see a huge van in front of you with three enemies beside it - don't worry, if you approach from this direction they can't see you. All you need to do is reach the van, jack in, talk to Placide, and you'll progress to the next part of the quest.

For what it's worth, the next part of the quest allows you to mostly avoid combat, too. You need to head up to the second floor, so go back towards the back of the room - where you approached the van from - and climb up. Sneak towards the new quest marker and you'll reach an area guarded by Sasquatch. Sasquatch is a massive enemy that deals huge damage - to be completely honest, to best way to win is to focus on melee attacks, which might seem counter-intuitive at first, but is ultimately the best way to lay down big damage.

Once you've beaten Sasquath, follow the quest marker to the cinema and go inside to find the Netrunner. Here you'll be forced to make a decision - join forces with NetWatch, or stay loyal to Placide and the Voodoo Boys?
