The show broke all sorts of different records last year, soaring to the top of the charts in terms of total viewership, becoming an astounding success for producers Netflix and CD Projekt. The series beat Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Lycoris Recoil, Ranking of Kings, and Spy x Family to win the award.The Crunchyroll Anime Awards were started seven years ago to celebrate the best animated series and films of the year.
