It's always nice hearing news about the royal family, and by that, I obviously mean the Beckhams. While he hasn't had much luck with Inter Miami, the MLS football team he owns, he'll be hoping for better fortune with his pro esports team, Guild Esports as it has added new names to its roster for Apex Legends.

Guild Esports just announced the formation of an Apex Legends team, which will include pro players, MaTaFe, Silta, and Horizxon. The announcement was made by MaTaFe just some time ago via a video between his usual stream. The video (1:50:00 into the stream) showcased the trio and announced that they will be seen in action for the first time together at the Apex Legends Global Series, which starts today.

“I’ve been a big fan of what Guild has been doing in the industry for a long-time, so when I was given the opportunity to be part of its first-ever Apex Legends team it was a no brainer," said MeTaFe while talking about the team. "Together with Silta and Horizxon, I’m excited to push the team to new heights and compete at the highest levels in the scene. With Guild’s unique training offerings such as the Guild Academy, I’m confident that the organisation will only continue to get stronger and I’m looking forward to being a part of that journey.”

As with many other live games, Apex Legends is currently running its Halloween event, Monsters Within. Players will get a chance to visit Seer's home world of Boreas, where they will battle it out on the Encore arenas map. Encore consists of two major high-ground power positions, each with its own direct and flanking approaches.

Making a comeback is the Shadow Royale game mode which turns slain Legends into shadow form. Shadow form has unlimited lives, so you can terrify your enemies and assist your team until all of them are downed.

A whole new reward track has also been added for the duration of the event. You can unlock spooky cosmetics and gear. Limited edition Monsters Within Packs will get you event specific items, guaranteed to not have any duplicates.
