Bend Studios has confirmed that Days Gone will run in 4K and up to 60fps on PS5. Saves from your PS4 will also carry forward to Sony's next-gen console.

The brief post on Twitter said we can expect "up to 60fps with Dynamic 4K," meaning framerates might dip a bit during GPU heavy scenes. The same goes for the increased resolution – Dynamic 4K indicates that the title might adjust its resolution based on how well PS5's processors are handling the action. Still, the boost in graphics is bound to give Days Gone new life, and it'll be one of the best zombie titles available on PS5 at launch.

First released in 2019, Days Gone tells the story of Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter who is fighting to survive in a world ravaged by zombies. Our review found it to be a bit rough around the edges, but entertaining enough for fans looking to slay hordes of zombies in a beautiful new, apocalyptic world. Since release, numerous patches and expansions have turned the game into something special, and it'll be exciting to see it running on a PS5 with these new graphical enhancements.

Days Gone is now available for PS4, and will run on PS5 in 4K at 60fps when the console finally hits store shelves on November 12.
