As promised, Kojima Productions has delivered the final trailer ahead of Death Stranding Director’s Cut, which arrives later this month. The final trailer is an actual director’s cut since it was edited by none other than Hideo Kojima himself.

It’s also basically a music video.

If you've already played Death Stranding, then there's really nothing in the trailer that'll surprise you. For those of you who haven't played the game and plan to make the Director's Cut your first experience, maybe skip this trailer to avoid some story spoilers.

The final trailer is all set to Woodkid's "Goliath" with fast cuts of pivotal moments from the game, making the whole thing feel like a music video. It's nice and artistic, just as you'd expect from Kojima-san.

Death Stranding Director's Cut arrives on September 24. It'll feature new hand-to-hand combat options for Sam, a mounted machine gun, a new package-firing cannon, a little robot that'll give you a piggyback, and best of all, a jetpack. Sort of.

If you already own the PS4 version of Death Stranding, you can purchase the PS5 upgrade for $10. It’ll come with a free save-file transfer, although some are saying that Sony really should be offering a free upgrade like its competitors.
