A new Tweet from Death Stranding developer/auteur Hideo Kojima has announced a Death Stranding world tour that will begin on October 30th and come to nine cities worldwide.

The tour's first stop will be in Paris, and subsequent cities will include London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Taipei, and Seoul. Since the game will be released on November 8th, it's very likely that the latter half of the tour will coincide with the game becoming available to the public.

Concrete details about the game have been relatively scarce in the three years since the game was initially announced, and it's likely that we now know just about as much as we ever will about the game prior to its release—or at the very least until its review embargo is lifted, which is rumored to be November 1st, a full week before the game's release date, due to a now-deleted Tweet by the official Metacritic Twitter account.

However, new information about the game could be revealed in its launch trailer, which is still being edited by Kojima (who has personally edited all of the game's prior trailers as well). While there are no further details pertaining to either the content of, or a release date for this final trailer, one of these tour events would be as good a time as any to show off the game's final pre-release spectacle. Plus, given the shroud of intrigue surrounding any new information that's been revealed about the game, it's sure to be a spectacle.

While it sounds like Kojima will be present at each stop of the game's world tour, it might not be unreasonable to expect cameos by some of the other notable contributors to the game's development; most recently, Kojima was joined by Mads Mikkelsen during a stop at Comic Con Russia. But as with all things Death Stranding, there's no way to know just what to expect until the tour actually kicks off on October 30th in Paris.
