There are only two characters in the world of Deathloop that retain their memories every time the loop resets: Colt and Julianna. At least that’s what Colt thought until he stumbled across Pick Rexly. In this unique side quest, Colt tries to find Pick, an eternalist who also retains their memories from loop to loop.

Pick is tricky to find, and running into them is only possible at specific times. Once Colt does find them, he will face a huge moral decision. The question will be, does colt have what it takes to save Pick? Have no worries because the end of this guide has a breakdown of the implications of each decision.

Rexly's Window in Karl's Bay in Deathloop

After you walk through the Gardens of Perception, look at the building on your right. You should see an open window above the stairs. Climb through the window.

Once inside, deactivate the red laser in front of the door, and enter the next room. Ignore the blue lasers coming out of the room.

Living Deja-Vu note in Karl's Bay in Deathloop

Once you are in the room, interact with the living deja-vu note. Pick will say that she is aware that she is in a time loop. You will be coming back here again, but for now, leave Karl’s Bay.

Day 2

Towards Tomorrow note in Karl's Bay in Deathloop

Restart the loop and come back to Karl’s Bay in the evening. Head back to the apartment. This time, in the room, look down at the floor in front of the locked room.

You will notice a new note on the ground there, so be sure to read it. It asks Colt to return the next day and use the code to get into the locked room. Once you’ve read the note, leave Karl’s Bay.

Day 3

Blue Lasers in Pick Rexly's in Karl's Bay in Deathloop

Like the previous two days, go to the apartment in Karl’s Bay (afternoon). This time you need to avoid the lasers. First things first, you need to deactivate the red trip mine. Then, open the door from the right side so you can dodge the blue lasers when the door opens.

Next, use shift or aether to get past the lasers and end up near the locked door.

Lockpad in Pick Rexly's in Karl's Bay in Deathloop

Enter the code and unlock the door. Doing so will trigger a cutscene.

Pick Rexly in Deathloop

Listen to Pick and wait until Pick stops talking. Don’t do anything rash and wait until all the dialogue is over, even after you regain control.

Killing/Saving Pick Rexly in Deathloop

Pick will ask you to kill her. Pick reasons that it will set her free from the loop, which is likely true. If you kill her, she won’t appear in any future time loops and will be free. If you don’t kill her, she will continue to wait in that room for every loop, killing herself every day.

The twisted thing about this quest is that the only way to save Pick Rexly is to kill her. Since we never see her again, we can assume that her plan works. She will drop a trinket and a blue fourpounder when she dies or if you come back in the evening.

That’s it for the saving Pick Rexly side quest.
