Aniplex of America released the first limited-edition Blu-ray volume of the anime in North America on June 30, 2020, and the second volume on November 24, 2020. The company, in partnership with Funimation, also released standard-edition Blu-ray volumes in September 2020 and January 2021.

The manga series, which was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who wants to become a demon slayer after his family is killed and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon.

The chapters, which were collected in 23 tankōbon volumes, were published in English by Viz Media and by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform. As of December 2020, the Demon Slayer franchise has generated $2.6 billion in sales in Japan. For more information, visit the official website here and follow the game on Twitter @kimetsuHINOKAMI.
