Destiny 2's Season of the Lost has added new titles for players to chase. Two new titles can be obtained this season: Realmwalker and Deadeye. The former is a season-specific title, while the latter is a more casual-friendly title that can be gilded once each season.

If you love playing a little bit of everything that Destiny 2 has to offer, Deadeye is the title for you. This title is all about developing mastery with every weapon type, both in PvE and PvP. You'll need to collect hundreds of weapons, land a thousand kills with each weapon archetype, and demonstrate skill with each weapon type in PvP if you want to rep this title. Let's go over how to complete every Triumph tied to Destiny 2's Deadeye title.

Note: This article only covers how to earn the Deadeye title. Consult our Deadeye Gilding guide if you wish to gild this title.

Weapon Archivist

Destiny 2 Season 15 Weapons Featured

Weapon Archivist: Unlock weapon entries in your collection by acquiring weapons for the first time.

Objective:

  • Unlock 200 weapon entries.

In essence, you need to obtain 200 weapons that aren't duplicates of one another. This is much easier than it sounds, as both Rares and Legendaries count for this challenge. Delve into every ritual playlist—Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit—to grab a large array of weapons. Keep your eyes out for Legendary Engrams, as these are tied to the world loot pool. This pool is massive, featuring dozens of weapons that you can obtain.

If you're just shy of reaching 200 unique weapon entries, you have a few options:

  • Redeem Engrams at vendors: Rahool and Banshee-44 are the best vendors for this, as they give any item in the general world loot pool. Engrams earned through ritual activities are also a good source of weapons.
  • Play seasonal activities: Each Destiny 2 season adds a handful of weapons for you to chase, most of which you can force to drop through Umbral Engrams.
  • Focus Umbral Engrams: You can reduce the drop pool of an Umbral Engram, allowing it to drop items you otherwise wouldn't get.

Dark Age Arsenal

Destiny 2 Gambit Prime Armor

Dark Age Arsenal: Win a Gambit match with a Gambit weapon equipped in every slot.

Objective:

  • Win a Gambit game while using a Kinetic, Energy, and Heavy weapon obtained from the Gambit playlist.

You'll need to equip a Gambit weapon in your Kinetic, Energy, and Heavy weapon slots and win a match to complete this Triumph. Fortunately, you don't have to play the entire match with these weapons. Swap to your Gambit weapons right before the Primeval dies to finish the Triumph.

No Gambit weapons added in Year 4 count for this Triumph. You must use weapons that were added during Forsaken or Season of the Drifter—reintroduced variants included. Any new Gambit weapons that were introduced afterward don't count. If that sounds confusing, don't fret. Here's every obtainable Gambit weapon that counts for this Triumph:

  • Kinetic: Bygones (Sunset), Lonesome, Malfeasance, Night Watch
  • Energy: Gnawing Hunger, Trust (Sunset)
  • Heavy: Bad Omens

Listed weapons that are sunset can be obtained from the Drifter by resetting your Infamy multiple times on your account.

Munitions Variety Pack

Destiny 2 Astral Alignment Guide Featured

Munitions Variety Pack: Defeat combatants with Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons.

Objectives:

  • Kinetic Weapon Final Blows: 500
  • Energy Weapon Final Blows: 250
  • Power Weapon Final Blows: 100

Kinetic and Energy refer to the first two weapon slots in your character's inventory. Kinetic is where non-elemental and Stasis weapons reside, and Energy houses every weapon that deals Arc, Solar, and Void damage. These kills can be against any enemy in any playlist. This Triumph should passively complete itself, so don't even worry about farming the kills for this.

Sweet Spotter

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Vex Wyvern

Sweet Spotter: Defeat combatants with precision weapon damage by targeting their weak points.

Objectives:

  • Cabal Legionary: 25
  • Cabal Incendior: 5
  • Vex Goblin: 25
  • Vex Wyvern: 3
  • Fallen Vandal: 25
  • Fallen Captain: 10
  • Hive Wizard: 5
  • Hive Ogre: 3
  • Scorn Ravager: 5
  • Taken Hobgoblin: 5

For nearly every enemy on this list, you'll need to hit them in the head to land a precision final blow. Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles, and Bows are the best weapons for getting precision kills. Some enemies on the list have weak points in unique locations:

  • Incendior: Damage the fuel tanks on their back
  • Goblin: Shoot their chest
  • Wyvern: Damage them until they flinch, revealing a weak point in their chest cavity
  • Ravager: Shoot their censer

Every other enemy's weak point is their head.

Auto Rifle Aptitude

Destiny 2 Gnawing Hunger

Auto Rifle Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Auto Rifles.

Objective:

  • Defeat 1,000 combatants with Auto Rifles.

Kills in any activity will count for this Triumph. Auto Rifles make short work of weaker red bar opponents, so consider using them in Altars of Sorrow or the Shattered Throne's Thrall hallway. Some good Auto Rifles include Monte Carlo and Gnawing Hunger.

Pulse Rifle Aptitude

Pulse Rifle Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Pulse Rifles.

Objective:

  • Defeat 1,000 combatants with Pulse Rifles.

Pulse Rifles excel at damaging opponents at medium distances, making them suitable for virtually every activity. Most red bars only take a burst or two to down. Consider using No Time to Explain, The Messenger, and Cold Denial.

Scout Rifle Aptitude

Destiny-2-Night-Watch

Scout Rifle Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Scout Rifles.

Objective:

  • Defeat 1,000 combatants with Pulse Rifles.

Scout Rifles saw a buff in Season of the Lost, making them much better suited for add-clear in PvE. Bring them to long-range activities like Shattered Realm, dungeons, and seasonal activities. Some good Scout Rifles include Symmetry, Contingency Plan, and Polaris Lance.

Destiny 2 Hawkmoon

Hand Cannon Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Hand Cannons.

Objective:

  • Defeat 1,000 combatants with Hand Cannons.

Hand Cannons are Destiny 2's most popular weapon archetype, effective at all ranges and highly forgiving. You most likely have this finished already. If not, use Sunshot, Ace of Spades, or virtually any Hand Cannon that you like.

Bow Aptitude

Destiny 2 A Warlock Draws Leviathan's Breath.

Bow Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Bows.

Objective:

  • Defeat 1,000 combatants with Bows.

If you aren't an avid Bow user, you might only have a few hundred kills for this Triumph. One Bow will quickly fix that: Trinity Ghoul. Get it from the Exotic Kiosk if you don't already own Trinity Ghoul, then try to obtain and complete its Catalyst by completing ritual activities—Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. This Bow is effectively Riskrunner with far more range, clearing out hordes of enemies with ease.

Destiny-2-Avalanche

Heavy Machine Gun Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Heavy Machine Guns.

  • Defeat 300 combatants with Heavy Machine Guns.

Adaptive Frames are arguably the best for this archetype, Rapid-Fire Frames coming in as a close second. A Fine Memorial from the Moon is a good option that you can target farm. Rocket Launcher Aptitude

Rocket Launcher Aptitude: Defeat combatants with Rocket Launchers.

Objective:

  • Defeat 300 combatants with Rocket Launchers.

Wardcliff Coil is solid for this challenge, although virtually any Rocket Launcher will work. Farm Last Wish raid's Shuro Chi encounter or Shattered Throne dungeon's Thrall hallway to get this done quickly. You can start the former solo by using the Wish Wall stationed near the first encounter.
