Fans of the original Destiny might remember golden chests on each of that game's patrol spaces. Those have returned in Destiny 2. Now named region chests, these golden chests provide planetary materials and Glimmer when opened. Each planet has around a dozen to find.
The Moon is no exception, having 12 chests for Guardians to find. Most of these chest locations are easy to find, provided you check your map. However, some of these chests can be somewhat hard to spot. This guide will help with this, showcasing where to find every region chest located on the Moon. Let's go over where to find all 12 of them.
Moon
Lua has 12 chests for Guardians to find. Three can be found in each notable location: Archer's Line, Anchor of Light, the Hellmouth, and Sorrow's Harbor.
Anchor Of Light #1
Head to the western part of the Anchor of Light. When you come across this Fallen camp, head into the tunnel to find a region chest on your left.
Anchor Of Light #2
Travel to the northern tip of the Anchor of Light, which can be found to the left of the northern exit. Run past a broken radio tower to find this golden chest.
Anchor Of Light #3
In the combat arena preceding the crashed Fallen ship, jump up the northern rock formation to find this chest. It'll be hiding behind a Fallen crate covered in a purple tarp.
Archer's Line #1
When you enter the Archer's Line from Sanctuary, climb up the railway leading to the K1 Logisitcs Lost Sector. On the southern portion of the railway is a region chest.
Archer's Line #2
Travel to the southwest corner of Archer's Line to find an abandoned outpost. Head to the southwest corner to find it.
Archer's Line #3
At the eastern part of Archer's Line is a broken dome-shaped building. Jump to the southern portion of the building to find it.
Hellmouth #1
Travel to the northwest section of the Hellmouth. When you reach a crack in the earth, follow it as far as you can to find this golden chest.
Hellmouth #2
At the center of the Hellmouth zone is an orange ramp that players can walk into. Head inside to find the chest beside a wall.
Hellmouth #3
Travel to the eastern part of the Hellmouth. Look for a purple tarp beside a large crack in the earth. The chest will be beside the tarp.
Sorrow's Harbor #1
Right as you enter Sorrow's Harbor, travel on the right fork in the main path.
As it begins to bend, get off your Sparrow and climb the rocks to the right of the path. The chest will be hiding behind some rocks near the top.
Sorrow's Harbor #2
At the eastern end of Sorrow's Harbor is a scarlet bridge and staircase. Drop down to the right of the staircase to find a region chest.
Sorrow's Harbor #3
Head to the eastern wall in the Sorrow's Harbor complex to find a secret entrance (shown above). Enter the tunnel system to find a chest at the end of the path.
