Destiny 2 players received an in-game alert earlier this week notifying Guardians of a new charity drive for the month of November. All month long, proceeds from the sales of each and every Pride collectible pin would go towards TransLifeline, a charity that provides online support and a crisis hotline for trans and gender-nonconforming people.

"During the month of November, Bungie is raising awareness and support of the transgender community by honoring the memory of trans and gender-nonconforming people whose lives were lost due to anti-trans hate and violence," Bungie wrote on the Pride pin's store page. "During this time, all profits from the sale of Bungie’s Pride Pin will benefit TransLifeline in support of their efforts to provide peer support to trans people in crisis through respectful, anonymous, and confidential communication and resources."

Bungie's Pride pin is made of 3D die-cast metal with a rubber clutch on the back so it can adhere to a variety of items. It also comes with a free in-game "True Colors" emblem which lets Guardians show their Pride to other Destiny 2 players.

Last month, Bungie revealed the new Everyone Can Play pin in support of AbleGamers, a charity that brings the joy of gaming to differently-abled people around the world. All profits for sales throughout the month of October went to AbleGamers with pins shipping to customers later in December. As with the Pride pin, the Everyone Can Play pin also comes with an in-game emblem for Guardians to show their support of Guardians with disabilities.

Destiny isn't the only game supporting TransLifeline. Tolarian Community College, a Magic: The Gathering YouTuber with quite the following, recently started a fundraising campaign in support of TransLifeline with almost $150,000 raised as of the time of this writing. Items for sale include booster packs, boxes, signed cards, foil timeshifted rares, alters and proxies, and more.
