Destiny 2's Season of the Lost is now in its fifth week, revealing a whole new host of secrets in the Debris of Dreams mission. The Wayfinder's Voyage quest continues to develop, and players can now obtain the Ager's Scepter Catalyst.
Of course, a new set of Seasonal Challenges can be completed for a large sum of XP and Bright Dust—perfect for those looking to finish their Season Pass. This week is fairly easy, requiring you to visit the Shattered Realm with Ager's Scepter to break a few Illusory Barriers. We'll be going over all seven challenges this week, their rewards, and how best to finish them.
Wayfinder's Voyage V
Wayfinder's Voyage V: Use the Wayfinder's Compass to complete Wayfinder's Voyage V. Also, defeat Taken with Bows anywhere in the system.

So long as you've completed the previous weekly Wayfinder's Voyage quest steps, you'll be able to jump straight into this quest upon reset. You know the drill by now.
For the second objective, you'll need to defeat 100 Scorn (not Taken) with Bows. Use Trinity Ghoul to get this done quickly. You can find plenty of Scorn in The Hollowed Lair strike and the Kingship Dock Lost Sector in the Tangled Shore.
Deceiving Appearances
Deceiving Appearances: Use Ager's Scepter to carve a path through Illusory Barriers in the Shattered Realm and claim the treasures they conceal. Additionally, align beacons in the Shattered Realm.

Illusory Barriers are rocks that emit a weak purple glow. They are scattered throughout each Shattered Realm mission. Ager's Scepter can break these rocks, revealing an Ascendant Anchor or chest. You'll need to break three barriers and activate six beacons to finish this challenge.

Ascendant Ballast II
Ascendant Ballast II: Gather Ascendant Anchors from patrol destinations and the Shattered Realm.

This challenge is retroactive.
You'll need to find 45 Ascendant Anchors on patrol and 20 Anchors in the Shattered Realm for this challenge. We've laid out every Ascendant Anchor in our Shattered Realm guides, all of which can be found in our Destiny 2 hub. For this week's Debris of Dreams, you can obtain 17 Ascendant Anchors. The patrol Anchors can be found on the EDZ, the Tangled Shore, and the Moon. The location rotates weekly, with this week having all Ascendant Anchors spawn on the Tangled Shore. Hop on your Sparrow and patrol the area to find them.
Stellar Aim
Stellar Aim: Defeat combatants with Hand Cannons and Stasis damage. Combatants defeated in the Astral Alignment activity grant bonus progress.
Rewards
- 12,500 XP
This challenge requires 150 Hand Cannon and Stasis kills. Vulpecula, a Hand Cannon that deals Stasis damage, is the perfect weapon for getting this challenge finished. Hop into the Astral Alignment activity to speed up your progress.
Zone Controller
Zone Controller: Capute zones in any Crucible match.
Rewards

- 150 Bright Dust
Zone Controller requires that you capture 50 zones while playing PvP. These can be Control points or tiebreaker flags in 3v3 modes like Survival. Since Control is all about capturing flags, that's easily the best mode to farm. Focus on grabbing points instead of killing opponents, and you should be able to finish this in a few PvP matches.
Astral Calibration
Astral Calibration: Acquire the seasonal ritual weapon.

This challenge is retroactive.
Season of the Lost's ritual weapon is Ascendancy, a Solar Rocket Launcher that comes with Explosive Light. You can obtain it by reaching the rank of "Legend" in any core playlist—Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. Strike At Xivu Arath's Minions
Strike at Xivu Arath's Minions: Defeat Taken and Scorn bosses in strikes.
Rewards
- 50,000 XP
- 150 Bright Dust
You'll need to defeat five Taken bosses and five Scorn bosses for this challenge. Since these bosses are found at the end of strikes, this might take you quite some time to finish. If you can help it, don't worry about speedrunning this challenge to prevent burnout.
If you want to get this challenge done as fast as possible, here are some good strikes you can farm:
- Taken Kills: Lake of Shadows – Found on the EDZ, this mission can be cleared in five minutes or less if you're swift. The final boss has a small health pool and no mechanics.
- Scorn Kills: The Hollowed Lair – This is the only strike in Destiny 2 with a Scorn boss. You'll find this strike in the Tangled Shore.
