Destiny 2 has released its final set of Seasonal Challenges for Season of the Plunder. While only five challenges were released this week, most of these challenges grant 50,000 to 100,000 XP. If you haven't maxed your Season Pass yet, now's the time to finish your challenges.

This week's challenges range from trivial to tedious. You'll need to earn Plundered Umbral Energy, level crafted seasonal weapons, and defeat enemies with Arc Supers. This guide will cover all five of this week's challenges, their rewards, and how best to complete them. Here is a complete guide to all week ten Seasonal Challenges for Destiny 2's Season of the Plunder.

Freebooter II

Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder HELM Guardians Beside Star Chart

Freebooter II: Open Expedition bonus chests and chests from Master Ketchcrash. Also, spend Plundered Umbral Energy at the Star Chart to focus engrams throughout the Season.

Rewards

  • Repute
  • 50,000 XP

The Plundered Umbral Energy objective is retroactive.

This challenge requires you to open 15 Expedition chests or Master Ketchcrash chests. Unless you can get a group together for Master Ketchcrash, we recommend farming Expedition. Each run will give you one bonus chest, although it's possible to open more through glitches, as shown by YouTuber selFu's video.

For the second half of the challenge, you'll need to collect 150 Plundered Umbral Energy. Thankfully, this part is retroactive. Expedition maps will be your main source of Plundered Umbral Energy. We highly recommend you complete the Double Plundered Umbral Energy Map Star Chart Upgrade to gain access to better Umbral Energy returns on your maps. Keep farming these maps until the challenge is finished.

Shaper III

Destiny 2 Witch Queen Weapon Crafting Table

Shaper III: Level Seasonal Shaped weapons to Level 20.

Rewards

  • Repute
  • 50,000 XP

We hope you kept the crafted seasonal weapons from a few weeks ago, as you'll need them again for this challenge. If not, you'll need to craft two Season of the Plunder weapons. Get both weapons to level 20 to finish this challenge.

This challenge is heavily reliant on red border drops, so this might take you quite some time. Get as many red border upgrades from the Star Chart as possible to speed up your craftable weapon progress. You can earn a red border once per weekly Ketchcrash clear through the Star Chart's Hidden Compartment upgrade, and you can focus a specific red border each week through the Double Perk Weapon Spoils upgrade.

As for leveling the weapons, we recommend either farming Shuro Chi in Last Wish or the Vanguard Ops playlist. If you have a Hunter, you can use the Nightstalker subclass to tether enemies together, granting weapon progress for each tethered enemy you slay.

Thunderlight

Destiny 2 Stasis Subclass Supers

Thunderlight: Defeat targets with Arc or Stasis Supers. Combatants defeated in Ketchcrash or Expedition, and defeat Guardians will award bonus progress.

Rewards

  • Repute
  • 50,000 XP

Thunderlight requires you to defeat 150 enemies with Arc or Stasis Supers. We highly recommend farming Ketchcrash or Expedition, taking advantage of roaming Supers. Here's what we recommend for each class:

  • Hunter: Use Arc Staff with Radian Flux. This will give you a long-lasting Super that deals solid damage against tougher foes.
  • Warlock: Use Stormtrance with Stormdancer's Brace. Landfall kills should charge your Exotic, helping your Stormtrance deal damage to majors. Once your Super ends, use a weapon like Bad Juju to fully charge it.
  • Titan: Use either Fists of Havoc or Thundercrash. We recommend using Storm Grenades with Touch of Thunder and Heart of Inmost Light. Equip two Ashes to Assets mods on your helmet, and you should be able to spam your Super with little issue.

EDZ Activities

Destiny 2 Hunter Arc Staff Super

EDZ Activities: In the EDZ, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.

Rewards

  • 25,000 XP
  • 75 Bright Dust

A total of 18 activities must be completed on the EDZ. This includes bounties from Devrim Kay, patrols, public events (Heroic variants grant more progress), and Lost Sectors. We highly recommend you grab all bounties from Devrim Kay and hit a nearby Lost Sector. Legendary Lost Sectors also count, although normal Lost Sectors are far easier. Repeat farming your favorite Lost Sector until the challenge is complete.

Intended Authority

Destiny 2 Cry Mutiny Intended Mischief Ornament

Intended Authority: Acquire the Vanguard ornament for Cry Mutiny.

Rewards

  • 100,000 XP
  • 300 Bright Dust
  • Planetstride – Emblem

Intended Authority is the Vanguard ornament for Cry Mutiny, obtained by resetting your Vanguard Rank and reaching Rank 16 with Zavala. Farming Heroic Lost Sectors is the fastest way of doing this, as Nightfalls give more reputation than Vanguard Ops. Heroic has matchmaking enabled, so anyone can farm it; just remember to bring Champion counters.

For more information on Vanguard Ranks, check out our Vanguard Ranks guide. And if you still haven't obtained Cry Mutiny, check our Cry Mutiniy guide to learn how you can obtain this weapon and all three of its ornaments.
