Destiny 2's new season came with a new set of Seasonal Challenges, time-limited Triumphs that grant massive chunks of XP and Bright Dust when completed. If you're looking to finish this season's Exo Frame upgrade grid or get your hands on some Eververse cosmetics, you'll want to complete as many Seasonal Challenges as possible.

Ten Seasonal Challenges are available in this first week, requiring you to play seasonal content, ritual playlists, and experiment with PvP modes. If you miss these seasons, don't fret; you have until the end of this season to finish them. This guide will cover all ten Seasonal Challenges from the first week, their rewards, and how to complete them.

More Than A Weapon I

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Exo Frame

More Than a Weapon I: Complete Week 1 of "More Than a Weapon."

"More Than a Weapon" is this season's main quest. You'll receive this quest immediately upon logging in. Complete the quest steps for the week—showcasing how Heist Battlegrounds and the weekly Operation missions work—to finish this Seasonal Challenge. Be sure to spend the Exo Frame Module awarded from this Seasonal Challenge on the Exo Frame upgrade grid.

Heist Battlegrounds I

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Heist Battleground Final Boss Room

Heist Battlegrounds I: In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist or Legend Heist Battlegrounds, open Seraph Chests and defeat powerful Hive combatants.

Rewards

  • 25,000 XP
  • Exo Frame Module

For this challenge, you must open five Seraph Chests and defeat 50 powerful Hive combatants. Majors and bosses count for this challenge, so keep your eyes peeled for any orange or yellow bars. For the Seraph Chests, you'll need Seraph Key Codes to unlock them. We recommend farming Vanguard Ops or Crucible to quickly build up a stockpile of codes.

Frozen Lightning

Destiny 2 Arc Hunter

Frozen Lightning: Defeat combatants with Stasis or Arc damage in Heist Battlegrounds.

Reward

  • 25,000 XP

Frozen Lightning requires 150 Arc or Stasis final blows in the Heist Battlegrounds playlist. Weapons and abilities both count for this challenge, so use any of your favorite weapons or builds to get this done quickly. So long as you have an Arc/Stasis Primary or subclass, you should have no issue getting this done in a couple of runs.

Precision Loadout

Destiny 2 Lorentz Driver

Precision Loadout: Defeat targets with Bows or Linear Fusion Rifles. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians. Defeat combatants in Heist Battlegrounds with precision final blows.

Reward

  • 25,000 XP

With precision weapons, you must defeat 250 enemies and land 100 precision final blows in Heist Battlegrounds. The 250 enemy kills can be in any playlist, not just the new seasonal content. We recommend getting the precision kills finished first. Equip your favorite Bow, launch Heist Battlegrounds, and focus on landing headshots whenever you can. By the time you land 100 headshot kills, you should have killed 250 combatants. If you still need combatant kills, farm Altars of Sorrow on the Moon.

Moon Activities

Destiny 2 Moon Armor And Weapons

Moon Activities: On the Moon, earn progress by completing bounties, public events, and Lost Sectors.

Rewards

  • 25,000 XP
  • 75 Bright Dust

Completing most activities on the Moon will grant progress toward this Seasonal Challenge. We recommend you grab bounties from Eris and farm nearby Lost Sectors. Lost Sectors on the Moon are incredibly short and filled with enemies, making most of Eris' kill bounties fairly easy to complete. Altars of Sorrow farming is also an option if you want to spice things up.
