Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph has entered its second week, progressing the seasonal storyline and releasing a new set of Seasonal Challenges. Ten challenges are available this week with varying degrees of difficulty, most of which should be fairly easy if you have character builds or good weapon rolls.
This week, you'll need to defeat Deathtongue Choristers in Heist Battlegrounds, use Void and Solar damage to defeat targets, calibrate mid-range weapons, and defeat Fallen in Vanguard playlists. Here is a complete to completing all week two Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph, showcasing tips and challenge rewards.
More Than A Weapon II
More Than a Weapon II: Complete Week 2 of "More Than a Weapon."
Rewards
- Exo Frame Module
- 12,500 XP
"More Than a Weapon" is this season's questline, obtained right after you log in and complete the introductory mission for Season of the Seraph. Return to the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. to continue the quest. This season, each week will require you to play Heist Battlegrounds and open Seraph Chests to progress the questline. Complete the second step of quest objectives to complete this Seasonal Challenge.
Heist Battlegrounds II
Heist Battlegrounds II: In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist, complete heists and defeat Deathtongue Choristers.
Rewards
- Exo Frame Module
- 25,000 XP
The Heist Battleground portion of this challenge is retroactive.
This challenge requires you to complete ten Heist Battlegrounds and defeat five Deathtongue Choristers. Deathtongue Choristers are Hive Acolytes with a notable white glow. They spawn near Hive totems and will attempt to activate them, disabling your abilities until the Chorister is slain. Mara Sov or Ana Bray will bark a voiceline whenever one spawns.
These Choristers are quite sturdy, so we recommend using Linear Fusion Rifles, Swords, or your entire Super to take them down. Killing the Chorister at any point will grant progress; you don't need to kill them before an alarm is triggered.
Fire In The Void
Fire in the Void: Defeat combatants with Void or Solar damage in Heist Battlegrounds.
Reward
- 25,000 XP
Defeat 150 combatants in Heist Battlegrounds with Void or Solar damage to finish this challenge. The damage can come from weapons, abilities, or perks. We recommend using Void weapons and a Solar subclass configured for Ignites. Hunters can use Caliban's Hand, Titans can build around the Consecration Aspect, and Warlocks can use Starfire Protocol with the Touch of Flame Aspect and Ember of Ashes Fragment.
Umbral Focusing I
Umbral Focusing I: Focus a Season of the Seraph engram at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M.
Reward
- 12,500 XP
Focusing an Umbral Engram into any drop from the Exo Frame counts for this challenge, so you shouldn't need any Exo Frame upgrades for this. With an Umbral Engram handy, speak to the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. and select any focusing option on the second page. For specific weapon focusing unlocks, you'll need specific Exo Frame upgrades. Consult our Exo Frame upgrade guide for more information on how to unlock every focusing option.
Cosmodrome Activities
Cosmodrome Activities: In the Cosmodrome, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
Completing any content on the Cosmodrome will grant progress for this challenge. We highly recommend you purchase bounties from Shaw Han and farm Cosmodrome Lost Sectors. Bounties in the Cosmodrome are incredibly easily to complete since they're tailored toward newer players, requiring you to land elemental kills or complete public events. Focus on completing these bounties, and you should have this challenge complete in an hour or less.
Lost In The Legend
Lost in the Legend: Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
Each day, one Lost Sector will be selected to include Legend and Master difficulty settings, selected by interacting with a banner just outside the Lost Sector. If you don't see the current Legend Lost Sector, you might need to clear it in the patrol space first. Interact with the banner outside the Lost Sector, pick "Legend" or "Master" (Legend is easier), and complete a run.
If you're struggling to clear one, we recommend looking into making a build for your class. We have some powerful builds that can handle Master Lost Sectors in our class build guides, all of which can be found below:
Mid-Range Calibration
Mid-Range Calibration: Calibrate mid-range weapons—Hand Cannons, Glaives, Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Machine Guns—in the Cosmodrome. Bonus progress for rapidly defeating combatants.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
Mid-Range Calibration requires 200 kills in the Cosmodrome with mid-range weapons. We recommend using a Glaive or Machine Gun for this challenge. Glaive melee kills count here and don't consume any ammo, while Machine Guns have massive ammo reserves and chew through Lost Sector bosses. You don't have to run Legend or Master Lost Sectors for this challenge.
Bank, Kill, Repeat
Bank, Kill, Repeat: Earn points by banking Motes, defeating Blockers, and defeating Guardians in Gambit.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
Point tallying is somewhat inconsistent for this Seasonal Challenge, but the gist is you want to kill Blockers or frequently invade the enemy team. Each Mote deposited grants one point, Blockers grant a varying amount based on size, and Guardians grant a massive chunk of points on each kill. Blockers are your safest bet here, so keep your eyes on your bank as the match progresses.
Freezing Void
Freezing Void: Defeat Guardians. Bonus progress is granted for opponents defeated with Void or Stasis effects.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
A total of 80 Guardians must be eliminated to finish this challenge. PvP is a no-brainer here, but you don't need to dive into a specific playlist for this Seasonal Challenge. If you hate PvP and dislike Control, consider waiting for Momentum Control, Team Scorched, or Mayhem to appear in the rotating playlist. And for those who dislike waiting for weekly playlists, you can farm Quickplay (low-moderate SBMM) or Crucible Labs (no SBMM).
The Fallen Fall
The Fallen Fall: Defeat Fallen combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.
Rewards
- 25,000 XP
- 75 Bright Dust
The Fallen Fall requires you to defeat 200 Fallen enemies in strikes, Vanguard Ops, or Nightfalls. While that's quite a high kill count, this is fairly easy to reach if you queue for The Devils' Lair or Fallen S.A.B.E.R. on the Cosmodrome. These strikes have plenty of Fallen to shoot and contain Fallen bosses, providing bonus progress once defeated. You should only need to run these strikes a couple of times to finish this challenge.
