Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph has released its ninth set of Seasonal Challenges, containing six challenges that yield high XP and Bright Dust returns if completed. This week, you'll need to calibrate weapons, defeat enemies with Void and Solar abilities, and complete Legend Heist Battlegrounds.

None of the challenges this week are particularly challenging, most requiring little more than some patience and active gameplay. If you're looking to finish your Season Pass or get a bundle of Bright Dust, these challenges should be your focus this week. Here is how to complete all week nine Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph.

Legend Heist Battlegrounds II

Destiny 2 Heist Battleground Europa

Legend Heist Battlegrounds II: Complete each Heist Battleground on Legend Difficulty.

Rewards

  • 8 Seraphic Umbral Energy
  • 50,000 XP

You'll need to complete all three Heist Battlegrounds on Legend to finish this Seasonal Challenge. This includes the Moon, Mars, and Europa Battlegrounds. Legend is slightly harder than normal, featuring locked loadouts, no matchmaking, and a -10 Power delta instead of -5. Bring a good build that can stun both Champion types before heading in.

Legend Battlegrounds rotate weekly, so you'll want to clear at least one Legend Heist each week for the next three weeks to get this finished. Bungie might change the rotation from weekly to daily toward the end of the season; keep your eyes peeled for any updates.

Heavy Loadout

Destiny 2 Grand Overture

Heavy Loadout: Defeat targets with Machine Guns. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians. Additionally, defeat powerful combatants in Heist Battlegrounds.

Reward

  • 25,000 XP

Heavy Loadout is a fairly easy Seasonal Challenge. You'll need to defeat 100 enemies with Machine Guns, and defeat 35 majors and/or bosses in Heist Battlegrounds. We recommend you kill two birds with one stone and use Machine Guns in the Heist Battlegrounds playlist. Deathtongue Choristers, the final boss, and most yellow bar adds will count for this challenge. If you're struggling to maintain ammo for your Machine Gun, use Lucent Finsher.

Pinnacle

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Pinnacle Armor Set

Pinnacle: Reach Power Level 1,590 by earning pinnacle rewards.

Rewards

  • 100,000 XP
  • 300 Bright Dust

This challenge is retroactive.

Power Level 1,590 is this season's Pinnacle cap, achieved by completing Pinnacle Gear sources scattered across the Director. Artifact Power does not count for this challenge. We cover all Pinnacle Gear sources in our Power Leveling guide. In general, we recommend you complete Spire of the Watcher and King's Fall every week, as each encounter drops Pinnacle Gear. Run your ritual weeklies to round out the slots that didn't get Pinnacle drops, and you should hit 1,590 Power in a couple of weeks.

Armory-Wide Calibration

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph The Manticore Exotic SMG

Armory-Wide Calibration: Calibrate Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. Bonus progress against Champions.

Rewards

  • 100,000 XP
  • 300 Bright Dust

As with previous seasons, this challenge requires you to land 200 Kinetic weapon kills, 200 Energy weapon kills, and 200 Heavy weapon kills. Champions grant far more progress than usual, so we recommend farming Heist Battlegrounds or high-difficulty Nightfalls to get this finished quickly.

While 200 kills per slot might sound high, kills from all content are tracked for this challenge. If you want to take things easy, it's not a bad idea focusing on other Seasonal Challenges first while this one passively completes itself.

Icy Singularity

Destiny 2 Stasis Subclass Supers

Icy Singularity: Defeat targets with Void or Stasis effects. Bonus progress for defeating invading Guardians.

Rewards

  • 50,000 XP
  • 150 Bright Dust

Icy Singularity's description isn't complete. For this challenge, you must defeat 200 Gambit enemies with Void or Stasis abilities or keywords. The kills must be in Gambit for this to count. Effects can be ability kills, Super kills, or keyword effects like Volatile and Shatter; weapon kills don't count. Ability-centric builds are recommended.

  • Hunter: Play Nightstalker with Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. Use Devour and a weapon with Demolitionist to spam grenades.
  • Warlock: Play Shadebinder and use Ager's Scepter.
  • Titan: Play Behemoth and use either Heart of Inmost Light or Hoarfrost-Z.

Cosmic Chill

Destiny 2 Fallen Frozen In Stasis And Surrounded By Crystals

Cosmic Chill: Defeat combatants with Void or Stasis effects in Vanguard playlists.

Rewards

  • 50,000 XP
  • 150 Bright Dust

Similar to the last Seasonal Challenge, you must defeat 300 enemies in Vanguard Ops or Nightfalls using Void or Stasis effects. Effects can be subclass abilities, Supers, or keyword effects like Volatile and Shatter. Weapon kills don't count here, so we recommend you bring an ability-focused build to get this done quickly.
