Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph brought a new dungeon for Guardians to clear. Spire of the Watcher is a Vex-themed dungeon set in an ancient Seraph Tower. Clear the Vex enemies within to get your hands on some Legendary Tex Mechanica weapons and the powerful Hierarchy of Needs Exotic Bow.

Those who demonstrate mastery over this dungeon can get the WANTED title. It's a demanding grind but more than fair. You don't need to get a lucky Exotic drop or farm really difficult encounters for this one. Get some friends together, create a good build, and start working towards one of Destiny 2's best titles.

Crisis Inverted

Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Gear

Crisis Inverted: Complete the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon.

If you haven't cleared this dungeon yet, check out our Spire of the Watcher guide for detailed breakdowns on each encounter. The dungeon itself is quite easier, about the same difficulty as Prophecy. Bosses in Spire of the Watcher have much shorter DPS windows that other dungeons, so be sure you bring a good DPS Heavy and Super.

The Magnificent One

Watcher Wyvern Boss aiming at a player.

The Magnificent One: Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon solo.

Leaving the dungeon at any point will void your solo completion. Be sure to complete the dungeon in one play session to receive credit.

Clearing this dungeon solo can be a struggle if you don't have god-rolled Linear Fusion Rifles or similar Heavy weapons. The bosses in this dungeon require excellent DPS setups to kill in a reasonable number of damage phases. Everything else is quite easier to solo here.

As for some recommendations:

Builds

Hunters

Nightstalker with Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. Use Echo of Starvation for access to Devour.

Warlocks

Dawnblade with Starfire Protocol. Bring Witherhoard to gain Fusion Grenade energy.

Titans

Sunbreaker with Loreley Splendor (survivability) or Synthoceps (DPS).

Encounter Tips

Mechanic Tip

Warmind Cells activate every switch in its blast radius. If shooting panels is proving too taxing, consider using Warmind Cells.

Harpy Boss

Bring a Trace Rifle or Machine Gun to quickly break its eyes. Adds under pylons can be used to easily spawn Elemental Wells.

Wyvern Boss

The final boss takes double damage from Supers. After the DPS phase, retreat into the power room to avoid the Supplicants.

InSPIREd Posse: Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon with a full fireteam of clanmates.

There's not much to explain here. Join a clan and clear the dungeon to receive credit. This Triumph tracks each encounter, so feel free to leave or switch characters between encounters.

Fulgurteam Strikes Thrice

Destiny 2 Arc Subclasses

Fulgurteam Strikes Back Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon with a full fireteam of Arc subclasses.

Completing this dungeon with all Arc subclasses shouldn't be difficult for most teams. Every class has an absurdly powerful Arc build that has S-tier add clear and solid burst damage. Here's what we recommend:

All Classes

Use Elemental Wells and Font of Might to increase your DPS.

Hunter

Use Lethal Current, Flow State, and Assassin's Cowl.

Swap to weapons for boss DPS, and use your melee for clearing out adds.

Warlock

Use Arc Soul, Electrostatic Mind, and Fallen Sunstar.

Support your team with Ionic Traces and Arc Souls.

Titan

Use Touch of Thunder, Knockout, and Storm Grenades.

Spam grenades every chance you get.

Three Suns At High Noon

Destiny 2 Solar Fragments Featured

Three Suns At High Noon: Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon with a full fireteam of Solar subclasses.

Solar is arguably the best element for clearing Spire of the Watcher, seeing as Warlocks can utilize Well of Radiance. All three classes have good options here:

All Classes

Use Elemental Wells and Font of Might to increase your DPS.

Hunter

Use On Your Mark, Knock 'Em Down, and Star-Eater Scales.

Spawn Elemental Wells with your melee, and use Blade Barrage on the boss.

Warlock

Use Heat Rises, Touch of Flame, and Starfire Protocol (DPS) or Sunbracers (add clear).

Both Exotics let you spam grenades, Starfire being better for single-target DPS.

Titan

Use Sol Invictus, Roaring Flames, and Synthoceps.

Synthoceps and Roaring Flames drastically increase your melee and Super damage.

The Null, The Blank, And The Empty

Destiny 2 Void 3.0 Subclasses

The Null, The Blank, and the Empty: Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon with a full fireteam of Void subclasses.

A Void clear of this dungeon should be fairly easy for every class, provided you're in a team. Hunters can potentially solo this with some practice, but the other two classes might want to use other elements instead. As for builds:

All Classes

Use Elemental Wells and Font of Might to increase your DPS.

Hunter

Use Stylish Executioner, Vanishing Step, and Gyrfalcon's Hauberk

Dodge before DPS to improve your damage. Bring a Void LFR or Machine Gun.

Warlock

Use Controverse Hold, Feed the Void, and Contraverse Hold

Overcharge your Vortex Grenades for great passive damage.

Titan

Use Bastion, Offensive Bulwark, and Heart of Inmost Light

Focus on buffing your team with overshields and Weapons of Light.

One Class Town

Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Harpy Boss

One Class Town: Complete all encounters in the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon with a full fireteam of the same class.

Any class is viable here, so pick your favorite. If you're attempting to complete the solo Triumph as well, we recommend playing Warlock. You'll have access to Well of Radiance, Restoration through Phoenix Dive or Healing Grenades, and two excellent Exotics: Starfire Protocol and Sunbracers. Well of Radiance will double your damage against the Wyvern boss, and the ample healing from Dawnblade should make the add-dense sections much more manageable to solo. Once again, use any class you like if you're doing this in a group.

Resident Vexpert

Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Entrance

Resident Vexpert: Complete the "Spire of the Watcher" dungeon on Master difficulty.

The Master version of this dungeon contains Overload Minotaurs, Match Game, and its Power Level is set to +20 over the Pinnacle Cap—for Season of the Seraph, this is 1,610 Power. We highly recommend reaching the Pinnacle cap and leveling your Artifact before attempting a Master clear. The same loadouts that work for Normal should be fine for Master; just beware of the Overload Champions that spawn in some encounters.

Spire Of The Watcher Badge

Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Badge

Every dungeon has a loot badge you can earn by collecting every weapon and armor piece that drops from the activity. For Spire of the Watcher, you must earn every weapon (excluding the Exotic), armor piece, and the Sparrow that drops from a Master clear. You only need an armor set from one class to complete the badge. Badge progress may be viewed in your "Collections" tab, accessed through the same menu as your inventory.
