A limited edition version of Devil May Cry 5 costs a totally reasonable $8,000.

We’ve seen a couple of completely of games launch with some ridiculous additions. Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII just launched with a zombie-themed “Mystery Box” that will set you back $200. Duke Nukem Forever actually launched with an NVidia GeForce GTX 560 graphics card to ensure that you could play that bug-filled-festival-of-suck at peak FPS. That cost $250.

But rarely do we see a special edition of a game launch for $8,000.

Devil May Cry 5 is releasing with an Ultra Limited Edition that will demand a high price from only the most devoted of fans. Namely $8,000, depending on the version you opt for.

There are actually 3 versions of Devil May Cry 5 Ultra Limited Edition, one for each character featured in the game. Or more specifically, their jackets.

Starting at 600,000 yen ($5,320), newcomer V’s Limited Edition comes with a sleeveless black long coat with some heavy-duty stitching and an air of utter mystery.

At 750,000 yen ($6,650), Nero’s blue hooded jacket sports leather-padded shoulders and a right sleeve that has been completely torn off. Waist buckles and cross-like snaps are also included, but you’ll have to bring the tough-guy attitude yourself.

And finally, coming in at 900,000 yen ($7,980) is Dante’s signature red leather jacket. Made with genuine leather and pre-tussled to look like it’s spent decades fighting demons, this jacket will turn anyone into Devil May Cry’s white-haired hero.

Spending between $5,000 to $8,000 on a glorified costume seems a bit much, but these are more than just costumes: these are the real jackets worn by the models used to create each character. Each one has been sized for the model, so don’t expect to actually put these jackets on if you’re 6-foot 7-inches or 5-foot 2-inches.

They’re also only being sold in Japan, so you’ll have to import the game/jacket if you really want it.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Capcom has sold a jacket with a game. In 2012, Capcom offered the Resident Evil 6 Leather Jacket Edition which came with a replica of Leon’s leather jacket from the game. It only cost $1,000 bucks, though.
