Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hackers' Memory will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC later on this year as part of a single game called Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition.

The announcement for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition was made at the Future of Digimon panel at Anime Expo 2019, where it was also revealed that a new game in the series was also in development.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory were originally released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2015 and 2017, respectively. The games are RPGs that are notable for featuring a more adult tone than the other Digimon titles and have even been compared to the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series in terms of their aesthetic and storylines. An official announcement for the game was made on the Bandai Namco Twitter page.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth puts the player in the role of a hacker who lives in a world where a Matrix-style virtual reality program called Cyberspace Eden exists. The player gains the ability to summon Digimon, and they discover the existence of computer programs that can influence the real world, causing the player to join a detective agency that specializes in cyber-crimes in order to learn the truth about what is happening in the digital realm.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory stars a hacker named Keisuke Amasawa, who is accused of a crime that he didn't commit and is forced to search for answers in Cyberspace Eden. The game includes over ninety new Digimon from the original game and the events of both stories are tied together.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory both reviewed well upon release. If they both perform well in terms of sales, then there is also a chance that Digimon World: Next Order (a similar title that was also released for the PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita) might also be released for PC and Nintendo Switch platforms in the future.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition will be released for PC and Nintendo Switch on October 18th, 2019.
