A new season of Dimension 20 is now underway in its fifth season titled “A Crown of Candy,” with Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan and the party consisting of players Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson.

In this season, the party explores the land of Calorum, a place where the kingdoms are all themed after food groups. Everyone lives in fear of the ominous entity known as “The Hungry One” and viewers are in store for a food-fantasy medieval epic. The table-top props used looks like something right out of Candyland or Adventure Time, though the colorful backdrop masks the real dangers that players would expect from such a game.

For those who might not be familiar with the premise of the show, Dimension 20 is an Dungeons & Dragons show produced by the funny folks over at CollegeHumor, which is why we can see so many familiar faces in the party.

As an anthology series, each season sees the players explore vastly different worlds and characters, whereas many traditional table-top roleplaying shows tend to stick with many of the same characters through a longer progression of continuing story arcs.
