Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII is the next character to join the roster of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and the director of the game has made an effort to assure fans that she will maintain her jiggle physics.

Takeo Kujiraoka is the director of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and Dissidia Final Fantasy for arcades. Kujiraoka recently spoke to Famitsu about the new updates that are coming to the game, including gameplay balance changes, new costumes & weapons for Zenos as part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, and the addition of new songs from Final Fantasy XIV.

When discussing Tifa's inclusion in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, Kujiraoka ended his update with an assurance that "they still bounce," which is almost certainly a reference to Tifa's chest, as Kujiraoka said in a conspiratorial way.

The version of Tifa that appears in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT uses her original design from Final Fantasy VII, rather than the design used in the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake. Tifa's new design now incorporates a black undergarment that is intended to keep her chest immobile during battle, which was rumored to be a choice made internally by Square Enix and was later confirmed in an interview with Tetsuya Nomura (thanks, Kotaku).

The fact that Kujiraoka even brought up the issue of Tifa's chest during an interview is likely a reference to the changes to her design in Final Fantasy VII Remake. It's notable that Tifa uses the classic version of her design, rather than the one in Final Fantasy VII Remake, which isn't even offered as an alternate costume (though it might be in the future). The alterations to Tifa's design in Final Fantasy VII Remake have mostly been met with praise by the fans, but there are still those who prefer her original outfit and Kujiraoka might be one of them.

Tifa will be coming to the arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy on June 27 and will be coming to the PlayStation 4 version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on July 3.
