One of the greatest draws to the Disgaea series is the vast number of humanoid and monster characters you can create. Each class has a unique combination of stats, abilities, aesthetics, and even mechanics. When crafting your perfect team, you traditionally had a lot of options.

Unfortunately, Disgaea 6 reduces those options quite significantly. There is about half the number of humanoid classes in the roster and even fewer monsters. Whilst somewhat disappointing, the roster here is pretty solid - removing a lot of the chaff. You don’t start with them all unlocked, however. That will take a bit more work.

How To Unlock Classes In Disgaea 6

Disgaea 6 list of unlocked classes

Classes in Disgaea 6 are exclusively unlocked by completing Quests at the Quest Shop. The vast of these require you to gain proficiency in other classes or a combination of classes. There are a few ways to gain proficiency, which we will cover in detail shortly. Other classes are unlocked by completing objectives or handing in items - these are typically Monster class requirements.

How To Gain Proficiencies Quickly

Disgaea 6 Juice Bar Zed talking to Succubus

There are two ways to rapidly gain the Proficiencies needed to complete the humanoid Class Quests: use the Cheat Shop or the Juice Bar.

Cheat Shop

The Cheat Shop allows you to increase the speed at which you gain Proficiency with a class. You can increase this to +3000 percent once you hit the late game, but any increase will help. Simply increase that number and then take the required class into a battle and use Auto-Battle and Auto-Repeat to quickly unlock those classes. We recommend using the stage: Rich Man’s Plaza.

Juice Bar

If you don’t want to use the Cheat Shop, you can instead opt to instantly unlock any class (providing you have the quest!) by drinking some juice. Move over to the Class Proficiency tab for any character (Zed is a great choice) and then spend Stored EXP to increase your Proficiency with the required class. Easy.
