There’s plenty of fun to be had for the casual gamer. But if you want to become a real Dislyte pro player, you need to pick the right squad of Espers for the right scenario. Ye Suhua is a great addition to your team, so here's how to build her.

Ye Suhua’s Abilities And Strengths

Ye Suhua is one of the most popular and versatile support Espers in Dislyte. It’s easy to assume her popularity comes from easy accessibility, as she is available to everyone via the Ripple Dimension with a bit of patience. But Ye Suhua is also popular on merit, thanks to some powerful buffs and a last-gasp teammate-saving heal.

  • Star Dancer (cooldown: three to five turns): Gives ATK Up and DEF Up to your whole squad for two turns.
  • Astral Guardian (cooldown: three to four turns): Heals an ally for up to 30 percent of their maximum HP while also giving them Recovery and Invincibility for one turn*.
  • Stardust (basic attack): Deals up to 130 percent ATK damage to a single target with up to a 70 percent chance to also inflict ATK Down for two turns.

* Once upgraded, Astral Guardian also gives an extra turn of Recovery if the target was on less than 50 percent health when healed.

As with many of the best Espers in Dislyte, Ye Suhua can play a dual role in most squads. Her buffing is basic but powerful, while her heal is single-target but incredibly strong. On the downside, she does not have a Captain ability, but this is a minor issue.

Resonance: Which Statistics Should I Increase?

With patience, it is very easy to max out Ye Suhua’s Resonance Growth as you can pick up multiple copies of her via the Ripple Dimension. As a support Esper, there’s no real need to up her ATK – leaving you the choice of DEF or HP. We’d suggest HP as she’ll benefit more from her own Heal ability, while Resonance abilities such as Targeted Constraints (plus ACC) and Law of Conjunction (heal from buffing) suit her own powers.

Which Relic Sets Are Best For Ye Suhua?

Unlike many other Espers, the main role Ye Suhua will play could well be determined by your play style, but also the enemy you’re facing.

  • Ocean Waves (Una): 30 percent chance to reduce your cooldowns by one turn at the start of each turn. As your main abilities are strong, using them frequently is what your squad needs.
  • Abiding Panacea (Una): Healing strength +30 percent. If you’re using Ye Suhua as the only healer in the team, this makes sense.
  • Adamantine (Mui): All allies start the battle with a two-turn Shield which equals 15 percent of their HP. Again, this set tends to be put on the group healer.
  • Master Grove (Mui): If you have Adamantine on another character, boosting her HP is often going to be your next best option.

If the Ocean Waves route to speedier abilities is a bit too random for your style, Wind Walker (+25 percent SPD) may be a better option, especially in a Speed and AP Up-based squad.

Relic Sub Stats

Working through her progressions as quickly as possible is going to make Ye Suhua much more effective, so you’ll want SPD as the main stat on your Mui II relic and as much on all Relic sub-stats as much as possible.

Having ACC up above 80 percent is also advisable, as it's great to have her basic attack debuff landing as often as possible. Beyond that, it’s all about staying alive but also active – so HP percentage and Resist Relics will help her stay effective.

How To Play Ye Suhua

With the right setup, Ye Suhua can be played in several ways. She’s a great backup healer, but if you want her as your frontline healing solution you need to find ways to speed up those cooldowns.

Similarly, if you can reduce those cooldowns or get her taking extra turns, she can keep those ATT and DEF Up buffs going almost indefinitely — great in fast damage-dealing teams, and welcome in pretty much any squad.

She’s great against Kronos, where big damage and keeping your squad alive are both crucial. Overall, she’s a great addition to any boss squad except Fafnir in either the Sonic or Ritual Miracle. She’s also a good performer in the Towers and Storyline and can do a job in PvP if your team is built to complement her skills.
