Here are some other games that can provide you with a similar wholesome feeling, whether in the Disney farming simulation aspect.

12 Stardew Valley

It's easy to get lost in the daily tasks of farming, crafting, and chatting with others in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you like that sort of chill gameplay, Stardew Valley also does those things excellently. One difference is that Stardew also has combat, where you get to fight monsters and craft powerful tools.

Every villager has a distinct personality, and there are a bunch of bachelors and bachelorettes you get to spend time with, romance, and even marry. They also have unique Heart Events, and witnessing your favorite character's ones will often bring a tear to your eye. Stardew Valley is rock solid in its gameplay, so it's definitely a must-try if you can't get enough of the simulation aspect of Disney Dreamlight Valley.

11 Sun Haven

Another game that does life sim stuff well is Sun Haven. The customization options for your character in this game are plentiful: you can even change your race to something more magical. Every race has its own special abilities, so it's more than just a cosmetic thing.

You have a ton of things to do, from farming to decorating to exploring and battling, and the characters you can befriend and romance are diverse and well-written. The magical element in Sun Haven means a twist on the mundane in many aspects, including farming. Why settle for just growing regular things when you can grow marshmallow beans and hexagon berries, after all?

10 Cozy Grove

If you're a fan of supernatural elements in your media, Cozy Grove does a great job at combining the, well, coziness of life simulation with ghosts and spirits. Like Disney Dreamlight Valley, the game runs in real time, so it's perfect for spending an hour or two with daily.

Being haunted usually makes people stay away, but it's the appeal in Cozy Grove. You can befriend both living and dead characters in this game. Each spirit has their own story for you to experience. And when you're done with that--or before you even start doing it, your choice--you can farm, craft, collect, and more to your heart's content. Cozy Grove is also 100 percent family friendly, so you can play it with any kids in your family if Disney Dreamlight Valley wasn't enough for them!

9 Disney Infinity

Disney Infinity seemed to pave the way for Disney Dreamlight Valley, as both games use similar ideas. Disney Infinity brought together a giant cast of Disney characters from across the years, including from Marvel and Star Wars, and focused primarily on embarking on adventures in Disney worlds.

The game also includes a few casual elements, allowing you to design interior spaces with the rewards you received, as well as your own larger exterior environments. If you love Disney Dreamlight Valley, no doubt you’ll enjoy Disney Infinity as well.

8 Disney Universe

In this game, you get to not only meet but also dress up as your favorite Disney characters! Disney Universe is a co-op action game that emphasizes comedic elements and multiplayer fun. You play as an original character dressed up as your favorite Disney character, unlocking new costumes as you go. Levels are designed for cooperative play, making it a great Disney game to play with friends.

Like Disney Dreamlight Valley, plenty of Disney characters and worlds are included in the game. It also provides lighthearted fun, perfect for casual players.

7 Disney Mirrorverse

If you adore Disney, you’ll love Disney Mirrorverse. Though darker and more action-oriented than Disney Dreamlight Valley’s slower pace, the game is an epic reimagining of your favorite Disney characters. This game is Disney’s take on the classic party RPG system, allowing you to create a team of your favorite Disney characters in an edgier alternate reality.

Disney Mirrorverse uses a real-time combat system as you move through various quests. It is a thrilling gameplay experience, perfect for Disney fans who want a fast-paced adventure game. Plus, the reimagined designs of Disney characters is pretty cool.

6 Epic Mickey

Like Disney Mirrorverse, Epic Mickey is a slightly darker take on the normally bright Disney aesthetic. If you’re drawn to the adventure and mystery of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll appreciate Epic Mickey’s quest to stop the Blot from causing havoc on Wasteland, the world where cartoons go to be forgotten.

Epic Mickey also provides a unique gameplay compared to the other Disney games on this list: it is a platformer with puzzle elements. When you need a break from Disney Dreamlight Valley, this may be the perfect game to turn to.

Like Disney Dreamlight Valley, Bear and Breakfast is a simulation game with a mystery plot to play through. You play as new Bed and Breakfast manager Hank, a bear who lives in the woods. The game focuses on you building your business, remodeling and redesigning abandoned buildings to suit customers.

As you progress, you also interact with quirky characters and begin to peel back the layers of a mystery in the woods. It’s a fun, humorous, lighthearted game, perfect for Disney Dreamlight Valley fans to try out.

3 Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town

2 Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package

Kingdom Hearts started out as an unlikely concept and has evolved into a beloved series that's spanned over two decades. If you're tired of the perpetual edginess that AAA games tend to lean toward, you'll probably appreciate Kingdom Hearts' whimsy and cheesiness. The first game starts with a boy named Sora who's been whisked away to another world and goes in search of his best friends, using the power of the mysterious Keyblade to help various characters and defeat Heartless.

Almost every world is the setting of a different Disney movie, so like in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you get to meet all kinds of Disney characters and help them out to keep the world order intact. And if you like Final Fantasy characters too, that's a bonus. The All-in-One Package has all the non-mobile games up to KH3; it's a great deal.

In fact, even if you're not generally a fan of Star Wars, the Lego games are silly and fun enough that you don't need to have knowledge of the movies to have fun with them.
