Who doesn't love to watch Disney movies? Disney began producing their animated flicks in 1937 when they released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and they've been releasing super popular animated movies ever since then. With each new Disney movie, we're introduced to a new princess and we have new songs to learn every word to that we can sing loudly in the shower or car. These Disney movies are great! They introduce us to the princess, have something happen to her that needs to be resolved, and then let us watch her find her happy ending; all while she wears fabulous clothes and everyone sings catchy songs.

But, what if these Disney princes and princesses that we love so much weren't living the fabulous lives that we see them living in these movies? What if they were college students instead? While it's definitely not the super glamorous lifestyle that we're used to seeing them live, and their wardrobes would need a major overhaul because no college student is going to go to class in a ballgown, it would still be super cool to see! Unfortunately, Disney probably isn't going to give that to us. Luckily, there are a ton of talented artists on the Internet who have taken our favorite Disney characters and have given them a super modern twist so we could see what they would look like as college students! To see 30 pictures of what everyone's favorite Disney princes and princesses would look like if they were in college, keep reading!

30 Cinderella's Study Break

DeviantArt.com/Fdasuarez

Considering she looked so fabulous when she hit the ball, we know that Cinderella would definitely be a super stylish college student. For this drawing of her as one, it kept her signature color scheme with the baby blue dress and a pair of grey jeans. Just like in the movie, she has her hair up, but this time, it's in a super trendy messy bun.

Where can we get a notebook like that one, though?! College student Cinderella is super fabulous and the glass slipper on her notebook is a perfect touch.

29 Esmeralda The Dance Student

Anooshasyed.com

Considering the fact that she was a dancer in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, what better major for Esmeralda than to be a dance student? We couldn't imagine her doing anything other than exploring her love of dance after she went to college.

The best part of this reimagined version of Esmeralda is how much of her original outfit they kept. Just like her costume in the movie, the sweater tied around her waist is purple with gold dots that look a lot like the gold coins she had on her clothes in the movie.

28 Art Student Alice

via: deviantart.com/Hyung86

Even though Alice wasn't really much of an artist in the movies she appears in, who can deny that she was super creative? This reimagining of Alice from Alice in Wonderland shows her as an art student who always has her supplies in her pockets.

We can't imagine someone as quirky and creative as Alice being anything else as a college student. This art even kept her signature colors by turning her blue dress into overalls to make her look more modern and super artsy.

27 Ariel And Belle Exploring

via: MauricioAbril.com

The only thing missing from the Disney movies is the fact that we never get to see the princesses hanging out together! Ariel and Belle would make such adorable roommates. This art shows the two of them going to the Disney parks, because where else would they go?

Not only did this art keep their signature color schemes, it kept Ariel's obsession with “thingamabobs” from her movie! We definitely can't blame Ariel for being obsessed with collecting and admiring her Disney pins on their trip off campus.

26 Ariel And Eric Going To Class

Instagram.com/Andhikamuksin

There's no way that being in college would break up lovebirds like the Disney princes and princesses, right? This reimagining of Eric and Ariel as college students is unique in the way it was done.

The artist took a regular picture and put their heads from the movie onto it. Pretty cool, right? This definitely looks like they're headed to class together, and how cute and stylish do they look on campus? We can't help but imagine Eric is texting one of his Disney prince BFFs on that phone.

25 Tiana And Pocahontas As Roomies

via: tasiams.tumblr.com

Even though Pocahontas and The Princess and the Frog took place during two very different points in history, we just can't help but imagine that Tiana and Pocahontas would be BFFs and definitely the best college roomies!

This one is another excellent reimagining because of the fact that it kept the princesses true to their original styles. Tiana kept her signature yellow dress in the form of a stylish blouse and Pocahontas just wouldn't be herself without that necklace and her super long, cascading black hair.

24 Belle Taking A Study Break

Instagram.com/Dariart.Art

Since Belle was so obsessed with books in Beauty and the Beast, we can't imagine her any other way as a college student. This reimagining kept her signature blue bow in her hair and turned her blue and white dress into super cozy pajamas.

As a college student, Belle would definitely be caught most often in the library or in her dorm reading a chapter ahead of the rest of the students. Of all the Disney princesses, Belle would probably be the one who would enjoy college the most because of all the reading!

23 Student Merida

via: instagram.com/KarinaYordanova_Art

Considering what a rebel Merida is in Brave, it's no surprise that she would totally be one in college, too! That shirt is totally fitting for her and this reimagining of her as a college student has so many cool details like the bear pin on her bag!

Merida would definitely get a tattoo after she went away for college. Of what? A bear paw, of course! Just like in this drawing, it would be somewhere she could hide easily, like her upper arm. Her parents would not approve!

22 Studying Jane

DeviantArt.com/Fdasuarez

In Tarzan, Jane was a pretty quizzical character, so she would make a perfect college student. This art of her as a modern college undergrad is totally perfect because of how many details are in it! She still has her iconic yellow clothes, but now, they're way more modern and perfect for heading to class.

And who could miss that umbrella charm on her keychain and leaf-shaped earring as an homage to the movie she appears in. Borrowing Jane's notes from class would be so helpful since she would definitely take super clear and thorough ones.

21 Hercules As A Student Athlete

DeviantArt.com/Hyung86

In Hercules, our title character definitely showed us how to go from zero to hero and became a superstar in ancient Greece!

How fitting is it to see Hercules as a college athlete? The school's football team would never lose a game with Hercules as their star player! And we totally know that Megara would never miss a game. How cute is it to imagine her in the stands, wearing the school's colors with Hercules' number on her shirt? Take notes, Disney! We need this modern day spin-off.

20 Tiana's Starbucks Run

DeviantArt.com/Fernl

In The Princess and the Frog, Tiana was totally obsessed with cooking. She had dreamed of opening a restaurant with her dad since she was a kid, and after losing him, she was working hard to open one in his memory.

Tiana would definitely go to a prestigious culinary school, which would mean a lot of late- night studying about different kinds of food and cooking techniques. She would definitely need a huge cup of coffee to stay awake for those nights! And that phone is perfect for taking pictures of everything she makes.

19 Belle At The Library

DeviantArt.com/LadyBug-17

Because of how much she loved the library in Beauty and the Beast, Belle is one of the most popular Disney princesses for talented artists to draw as college students.

This drawing is super special because of all the details the artist included. See that rose tattoo? And does her yellow sweater remind you of a special dress she wore? She's even reading La Belle et la Bête, which is the original Beauty and the Beast! There are just so many clever little things in this drawing, we can't get over it.

18 Snow White's New Apple

via: deviantart.com/Hyung86

Let's be honest, if we were Snow White, we would probably stay away from apples forever. Eating that poison one and being cursed until her true love came to save her must have turned her off of fruit for a while!

This drawing took the iconic apple from her story and put a super modern twist on it. Instead of taking a big bite out of a poison apple, she can take notes on one in the form of her shiny new iPad! That's much better.

17 Elsa's New Look

via: deviantart.com/Blueberries-In-July

This artist didn't change up Elsa's entire look in order to make her a college student, but they made just enough changes to really work. She still has that iconic braid and is still wearing an icy blue color, she looks a lot more modern and like she's ready to head to her morning class!

We can't imagine that Elsa would go to college anywhere warm, so we're just hoping that the weather outside isn't too chilly since she has no coat. Then again, the cold never bothered her anyway!

16 Student Mulan

via: deviantart.com/Nina-D-Lux

Mulan did an awesome job of saving her country and was a totally brave warrior, but this reimagined art makes it super clear that she would be just as cool as a college student, too.

This drawing has a lot of details that pay homage to her culture instead of just her movie. Her shirt has a panda on it, which is the national animal of China, the country in which the movie is set! Mulan was actually based on an ancient myth from this country, which is really cool, too.

15 Pocahontas' New Look

Deviantart.com/Naimly

How cool and casual does Pocahontas look as a student in this? Even though they totally changed her outfit up, they still stayed pretty true to the original in terms of the tan and turquoise colors! Plus, they kept her necklace from the movie. The shaved side of her head looks super cool with her iconic long hair.

One of the best parts of Pocahontas was definitely her pet raccoon, Meeko. This drawing didn't forget about him, though! Check out her adorable phone charm if you haven't spotted him already.

14 Aurora The Fashion Student

via: deviantart.com/Hyung86

In Sleeping Beauty, Aurora fell asleep until her true love came to kiss her after she poked her finger on a spinning wheel. Spinning wheels are a device that turn fabric into thread or yarn, which then can be used to make clothing.

As a college student, Aurora would definitely be a super stylish fashion student! In this reimagining, she's wearing a spinning wheel on her necklace, and that sketch in her hand looks a lot like the dress she wore in the movie. Adorable!

13 Tiana in Culinary School

via: anooshasyed.com

This reimagining of Tiana puts her in college where she would definitely be attending a prestigious culinary school. What would be better for a Disney princess who loves to cook and lives in the kitchen?

The coolest part of this drawing is that if you look closely, you'll notice that her purse is a lily pad! The same kind that frogs love to sit on. And what does Tiana have inside that lily pad-shaped purse? A whisk for all those baking emergencies! She'd never go to class empty handed.

12 Lady As A Human

via: deviantart.com/Fdasuarez

This reimagining isn't technically of a Disney princess, necessarily. She's still a Disney character, but she's not actually a human in the movie she appears in! This is Lady from Lady and the Tramp as a human college student. Cute, right?

Her hair is in two pig tails that look just like her fluffy ears and her choker is almost like a pup's collar. The coolest part of this drawing is definitely that her shirt is a reference back to the iconic spaghetti-eating scene in the movie.

11 Pocahontas And John Smith Walking Campus

via: instagram.com/Andhikamuksin

Seeing our favorite Disney characters as college students is adorable, but you know what makes them even better? Seeing our favorite Disney couples together! This shot of Pocahontas and John Smith walking to class is so cute and they just look so comfy in their jeans and sweatshirts.

It's good to know that not even going away to college could break up our favorite Disney couples. They're so cute in their movies and these modernized versions of them look almost as adorable as they do in the flicks they come from!
