Ever wanted to really feel like a hero while playing Dungeons & Dragons? An upcoming event may just present such an opportunity. The folks at StartPlaying Games are teaming up with several D&D creators and companies to put together Wisdom Save Weekend, a collection of games that will collect donations for a mental health charity.

Wisdom Save Weekend will run from November 21-22. During that time, D&D fans can find a variety of online games through StartPlaying. The online service acts as a matchmaker for players and DMs, where the users pay between $5-$20 to play in a session. For Wisdom Save Weekend, 100% of the proceeds are going to Take This.

Take This aims to "decrease the stigma, and increase the support for, mental health in the game community and inside the game industry."

Wisdom Save Weekend is also looking for DMs to run more games for the event, with the incentive that DMs get more entries into giveaways for D&D products. Partners such as WizKids, LevelUp Dice, and Wizards of the Coast itself are providing the prizes. Expect to see premium figurines, lots of dice, and maybe a free copy of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything up for grabs.
