A new battle royale is coming out this year. Dogfighter: World War 2 is an aerial battle royale that will be released in Fall 2019 on PlayStation 4.

Developed by IGGYMOB Co, GRUMPY, and I-Bong, Dogfighter has two separate parts. However, most gamers are excited for its battle royale feature, which will be free to play. In it, you can compete online against up to 39 other players who are all fighting in the air in order to be crowned aerial king.

You will be able to fly replica World War 2 planes and choose any number of fighter jets, including well-known planes like the Spitfire and the Mustang. You will also be able to customize them however you wish, as there will be skins, decals, and other items to personalize your fighter of choice.

However, Dogfight goes beyond just a typical battle royale. DLC includes a single-player campaign, including historic scenarios taken from World War 2. However, DLC is premium and will cost extra, though we don't have any details on the price yet. What we do know, however, is that the single-player campaign is titled "Into the Fire" and will contain cinematic cutscenes to go along with the story mode.

Its details include the statement, "Anyone who's played an FPS or TPS will be able to easily get a hang of the arcade controls." Typically, first- and third-person shooters involve human (or human-like) characters that are controlled by the player. Because Dogfight involves planes, it's quite possible that its controls will be different than other sorts of flying games and be more similar to FPS or TPS games.

Since we only have the trailer and screenshots to go by, it's impossible to tell how the controls will handle until more information is released. However, in the meantime, we're looking forward to Dogfighter: World War 2.
