Valve Corporation has premiered the 2019 edition of its True Sight documentary series.

True Sight: The International 2019 Finals debuted in Leipzig, Germany today. The documentary movie depicts the trials and challenges of Team Liquid and OG as they battle it out for the trophy at the global Dota 2 event. The idea is to give fans a more in-depth look at the tournament from the players' perspective.

The documentary depicted everything from emotions, gameplay mentality, sensitive information, and conversations, and surprisingly motivating trash-talking. Just like the global tournament it records, True Sight: The International 2019 was focused on the four matches that happened during the event. But unlike the event, the community got to see what happens after each match at the prestigious competition.

The sheer determination of both teams was evident and seemed to scale up with every match finished. The chemistry between Team Liquid and OG wasn't bitter rivalry but respect. Throughout the documentary, OG made it clear that they wanted to end the tournament quickly out of respect for Team Liquid, and they weren't joking.

With each loss Team Liquid faced, the desperation became more apparent with each conversation portrayed. But not to the point of toxicity. Surprisingly, Team Liquid was calm and collected once they lost. They accepted their defeat with grace and the realization that it wasn't the end. The behavior they displayed contributed to the meaning of a tournament, which further made the documentary much better. Ultimately, the connection between the teams and the team system within each one made True Sight: The International 2019 more than just a recap. It is a story about top-tier skill, competitive gaming, most importantly, friendship.

In True Sight: The International 2019 we got to see Ana with the biggest smile on his face, and W33 smirk as he picked his tournament main hero Templar Assassin. We got a taste of N0tail enthusiastic attitude that brought OG together, and Kuroky keep his teammates calm and collected in times of stress, and more.

The film is filled with loads of passion and heart. Not only will it excite fans, but it also amps up the expectations for next year's True Sight documentary. However, only time will tell if we'll have finalists as passionate as last year's teams.
