Captain Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi is returning to Team Nigma’s active Dota 2 lineup, the organization revealed on Twitter today. KuroKy stepped down from the starting roster in July, taking time off to recover from a recurring hand and arm injury. His first appearance back with the squad will take place at EPIC League Division 1.

KuroKy stepped down from Team Nigma’s active roster in July, just prior to OGA Dota PIT Season 2. The organization cited an arm injury as reason for the captain’s absence, as KuroKy needed to undergo physical therapy during his time off. KuroKy has been out of action since, and now looks to make his return to the lineup.

KuroKy took to Team Nigma’s Twitter account today to announce his return. The 28-year-old explains that he’s been “struggling with some issues in [his] hands and [his] arms” for years, which came as a result of constant playing without “proper breaks.” KuroKy explains that he’s taken the last few months to recover, and that he’s now ready to return to the team.

Since KuroKy’s departure, Team Nigma has placed first and third at OGA Dota PIT Season 2 and OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division, respectively. More recent results include 7-8th place finishes at OGA Dota PIT Season 3 and ESL One Germany.

KuroKy will play with Team Nigma again at EPIC League Division 1 in the team’s opening match against mudgolems, which is scheduled to take place on November 14th.
