The Yoshi Circuit first introduced to Mario Kart aficionados in Double Dash is now available in Mario Kart Tour.

Considering most of the world is currently in lockdown with little to do, it's somewhat surprising that a bigger fuss hasn't been made of Mario Kart Tour, a free mobile game that anyone and everyone who owns an iPhone or Android phone can play. The thing is, unlike Pokémon GO, Tour doesn't require people to go outdoors, so it hasn't changed anything. Nintendo has just been carrying on as normal.

Speaking of which, this week marks the beginning of the Yoshi Tour. The first time since Tour's launch that everyone's favorite video game dinosaur has been driven into the spotlight. The best addition to the game via the Yoshi Tour update is the introduction of the Yoshi Circuit.

For those unfamiliar with the track, it literally takes place on an island shaped exactly like Yoshi. It was first introduced in Double Dash but has returned to Mario Kart games multiple times since, including Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Yoshi Tour is active right now and will run until April 21, 2020, at which point it will be replaced with whatever tour Nintendo has lined up next.
