Dr Disrespect has announced that he is taking a few days off of Twitch to head for, what he is calling, "the extreme mountains."

Taking a break from the "Digital Society," he took to Twitter to confirm his temporary hiatus from the platform. The trek into nature was mentioned in an earlier broadcast when the streamer chatted with TimTheTatman about his reasoning.

Filling in Time and his viewers, Dr Disrespect cited exhaustion with social media and being hit with unrelenting waves of depressing news headlines. "I think it's going to be healthy to go out in the middle of the mountains... and just do some camping," he proclaimed. "No electricity, no toilets, nothing."

Tim related to the sentiment, stating that he thinks he'll completely disconnect from technology once he retires from streaming completely. It's not uncommon for streamers to seek out an escape from Twitch and screens in general, but The Doc will likely return after a quick refresher.

The streamer has been been putting a lot of hours into Call of Duty: Warzone, his clear game of choice lately. He even put on a $20,000 "Code Red" charity tournament only a few days ago, partnering up with FormaL. Despite his attachment to Warzone, however, Dr Disrespect has been a vocal critic over the game, giving it a rating of 6.1/10 on Twitter in response to Tim's praise.

Call of Duty: Warzone isn't the only victim of The Doc's pessimism; he's been taking shots at everything. From Crysis 3's cluttered HUD to Fortnite's latest water-soaked update – nothing has escaped his judgement. Regarding the recent Sony presentation, Dr Disrespect summed up his thoughts on the PlayStation 5 reveal with one succinct clip. If you missed it, check it out below.

Needless to say, a lot of the featured games didn't interest Dr Disrespect. The high-energy Twitch streamer has consistently shown the most interest in FPS titles, so it isn't exactly surprising that he'd come after the family-friendly showcase from Sony; it doesn't quite fit his brand. After an unplugged vacation this weekend, however, maybe he'll return with a refreshed spirit and some new ideas.
