Popular streamer and content creator Dr Disrespect argued that players should be able to hear him talk smack after he kills them in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Dr Disrespect, also known as the "Two-Time," is known for his eccentric personality, constantly trash talking his opponents and broadcasting to the world how dominant he is at every game he plays. Whether it be roasting Nadeshot live on stream, claiming that he wants revenge on Twitter, or even getting completely jebaited, the 6'8" back to back blockbuster 1993-1994 video game champion is no stranger to the trash talk spotlight.

During his Twitch Rivals Warzone Tournament warm-up on Wednesday, Dr Disrespect killed an enemy player and immediately stated that he does not care about hearing the death chat from his downed enemies, but instead wants his downed enemies to hear the trash talk from him.

"Like honestly, I don't really care about what they have to say after I kill them. It's about what I have to say, after I kill them." Although this type of trash talk may be no surprise to the typical Dr Disrespect fan, this idea is certainly novel. It can be so satisfying to kill an enemy player in any battle royale or other shooter, then hear that player rage at how you "shouldn't have killed him."

But how much more satisfying would it be to be able to talk directly to any downed enemies and tell them just how much better you are than them? Fighting games give the characters a moment to let out a victory quote at the end of a match, so why not have the FPS version of this?

It's a different take on an old idea, and the "Two-Time" definitely is not the first to come up with concept. Death chat, referred to by some as proximity chat, has always been entertaining, but that does not mean it cannot get even better. One can only hope that Activision considers including this feature as the content resulting from it would be full of moments never before seen.
