None of the playable characters in Dr. Mario World seem as if they possess a medical license and the upcoming additions to the cast are no exception, as Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Peach are coming to the game on September 5.

Dr. Mario World allows the player to choose from different residents of the Mushroom Kingdom to act as their avatar on their field, all of which possess their own special abilities. The current roster of the game includes characters like Dr. Mario, Dr. Toad, and Dr. Waluigi, but most of them need to be unlocked through gacha mechanics.

Dr. Mario World is receiving an update on September 5 that will add three new playable doctors to the game. The fans of the Yoshi's Island and Mario Kart series might be happy to see the addition of Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Peach to Dr. Mario World, but you wouldn't want them operating on you in real life. Then again, no one would trust Dr. Mario either, as he's a total pill pusher.

Baby Mario debuted in Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo, where he taught an entire generation of gamers to git gud at platform games, or risk hearing his annoying crying sounds.

Baby Luigi also debuted in Yoshi's Island, but he had been captured by the Kameks and it's up to Baby Mario and Yoshi to save him and the Stork so that they can be sent to their rightful home.

Baby Peach debuted in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, which was a game that involved a team-up between Mario & Luigi and their younger selves. She has since appeared in several Mario Kart games as a playable character.

The addition of the baby characters had previously been leaked as part of a datamine of Dr. Mario World, which also said that Baby Daisy would be arriving in the future at some point.

Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Peach will be added to Dr. Mario World on September 5, 2019.
