Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Super Card Game will be getting a digital version in the near future, with more details to be revealed at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 in March.

Dragon Ball Super Card Game, not to be confused with the other Dragon Ball card game, Dragon Ball Heroes, looks like it's going to follow in the footsteps of other tabletop games like Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon by getting its own digital version at some point in 2023. Hopefully, it goes a little bit better than Pokemon's attempt.

Alongside confirming that there will be a Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event this coming March, Bandai Namco released a teaser trailer that reveals a digital version of Dragon Ball Super Card Game is on the way. Not much else is known about it so far, but it did show off a little footage alongside the reveal.

The trailer showed by showing shots of various cards and packs for Dragon Ball Super Card Game, before showing a ton of different cards floating around. We then focus on Goku's card, before showing his character model fly towards the screen, revealing that the announcement is for a digital version of the game.

The title of the game is then revealed to be Dragon Ball Super Card Game Digital Version, before we see some shots of Goku charging up a Kamehamaha in the Tenkaichi Budokai arena. The trailer then ends by confirming that more details will be announced at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour in March, alongside news of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Legends.

Although the teaser trailer is Brief like Trunks, Goku's character model is pretty impressive, looking like a combination of how he did in Burst Limit and Battle for the Gods. We'll have to wait and see what the game actually looks like in action, but it's looking good so far.
