Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will is getting a new patch that will reduce loading times between areas, which is always a good thing.

There’s always a problem with big open-world games: loading times. Sadly, only the beefiest of personal computers have the memory to store an entire game world at once, and modern consoles just don’t have enough of it. Next-gen consoles might, but for now, the curse of loading times remains upon us all.

However, there are ways of reducing load times. Bandai Namco must have figured something out because the latest patch for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will help reduce the game’s loading times at least a little bit.

The patch comes out today, with Namco asking that players remember to update their games to the latest version. Not only will the patch shorten load times when moving between areas, but there will also be “other adjustments” that should help speed up the game. No complaints here!

Remember to check for updates whenever you load in today if you don’t see the game automatically updating.

We’ve got a lot to look forward to with future Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot updates. Recently, a Redditor found the Gravity Room inside Capsule Corp after exploiting a bug to fly around the campus without being constrained by pesky things like walls. They found that there was an area of Capsule Corp that’s currently inaccessible, but is very clearly labeled Gravity Room. This might have been cut content from the game, but more likely it seems like this will be added content for a future update.

Also located in the game’s files are Beerus and Whis. A dataminer performed their sacred duty to go over the game’s code line by line, and lo-and-behold, Beerus and Whis are just sitting there, waiting to arrive. This would take Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot from the Dragon Ball Z timeline all the way to the events of Dragon Ball Super, which seems likely to be a planned future DLC.
